BASIC BRIEF OF THE EVENT:

As ISTE student chapter GCET is well known for its unique idea & creative venture and mind
blowing events with always having the huge participants for it and continuing this tradition
this year chapter is bringing one more event to fulfill the requirements of the techies
chapter is presenting one webinar with interaction session with very eminent and always
having upfront personality Dr. Archana Sharma the Principal scientist at CERN(European
organization for Nuclear Research, French swiss border, Geneva) also project manager –
CMS Experiment and TEDx Speaker. She is one of the best scientists who has played a crucial
role in the discovery of Higgs boson by building one of the most sensitive detectors called
compact muon solenoid. She established Life Lab, an NGO, In India to connect students and
teachers with the global research communities at CERN.

Firstly, our webinar with interaction session will conduct on 9 th Aug,2020 at 11 am IST, the
speaker will connect with us before the 20minutes from conduction of the session on the
platform which we will provide her. We have confirmed with speaker that she will going to
add some knowledge of BLUE SKY RESEARCH IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AND ITS
SOCIETAL IMPACT to the our pondering participants and also having the 15-20 minutes of
interaction session with participants in which she will answer some questions directly from
participants via most feasible mod provided by us. For the successful conduction of the
event firstly chapter is providing one registration link contain Google form which is asking
for basic contact details of the participants and also with poster of the event an its details to
the mass public up to 6th or 7th Aug then after once registration is closed we will record the
details and contact participants for providing the joining link to the platform before a day of
conduction of event. After the successful conduction of the event participants will rewarded
by the E-certificate from the chapter for participation and also certificate of appreciation to
the speaker. For the flow of event speaker will be address first then also appreciated by
faculty coordinator of the event if possible than speaker will conduct the webinar then after
competition of interaction session there will be one concluding statement from the chapter
to all. For whole webinar along with certificate event is completely free for the participants
as it is conducted on online platform. This is how event will proceed.
