the August 21st at 4 p.m the Rockefeller family was disturbed by a burglary some
text.jewels that belonged to the family’s treasure were stolen, and this burglary must
be solved by our crew of detectives.

It’s important to solve this case before the class finishes.

Mr. Jack Holmes: THE LAWYER
He is a very lawyer, has won all the cases in Hamptons Country. Recently he was defending
the Rockefeller family in a case related to tax evasion which some people said Mr. Rockefeller
would spend at least 5 years in jail but he won’t spend it alone!

Alfred Montana: THE BUTLER

He has worked for the Rockefeller familly for 10 years. Recently he traveled to Puerto Rico to
visit his family because his mother was having health problems.

Buddy Ramsey: THE CHEF

A new chef at the Rockefeller home, he has been cooking for the family the last few months he
was recommended by Alfred Montana. However Danielle Rockefeller isn’t a big fan of his food.

Gloria Rubio: THE HOUSE KEEPING

She is probably the most reliable employee, she knows where everything is and how everything
works, and recently she started working fewer hours to care her new house close to Rockefeller
family.

Donald Carter: THE GARDENER

He is a quiet person, always avoids interaction with others but he always does a perfect job,
according to Mr. Rockefeller.

Miss Danielle Rockefeller: THE HEIRESS

She is a young arrogant girl, she is beautiful, clever and dishonest but for her the most
important thing is the family and her business.

This is the final report:

After an investigation, two air tickets were found by us, that means that there
are two guiltys who were planning an escape. Our first guilty is the gardener,
the only lie was said by him in the interrogation. And the other one is the
lawyer, he is recently here, In addition, he has won absolutely all the cases,
but in Mr. Rockefeller's case it was not like that, causing him to be
imprisoned.

We use the get passive especially in informal speaking. When we use the get passive, we also place a

We sometimes use a reflexive pronoun with the get passive. This suggests the subject was at least

Work in pairs. Think of alternative punishments for crimes in stories 1 – 3.

Present your ideas to the class.
For the first case, you could tell the children's parents and have them punish you for
that.
For case 2 they should make her pay the ex-soldiers with all the money she collected
from the scam page.
and finally the case 3 that they put them to carry out social service like cleaning the
streets etc.
