Highlights
Welcomed new teachers with baskets filled with supplies/gift cards.
Continued our support for Carroll County Promise.
Hosted the 10th annual Settler Slam 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament during Old Settlers. Seventeen
teams participated.
Raffled four (donated) tickets to the Purdue-TCU football game.
Bylaws were revised and updated.
Received a donation of over $1,800.00 from Artemis Color Lounge and Lifestyle Studio. Owner Erin
Jubril donated the proceeds from a silent auction at her grand opening.
Continued to expand our use of technology by opening an internet bank account and maintaining
our Facebook page.
The COVID-19 global pandemic altered some of our activities. Instead of placing banners at schools
for Teacher Appreciation Day, a card was designed and emailed to the teachers, as well as posted
on Facebook. And we had our first-ever meeting via Zoom.
