Objective:
To draw the phasor for an RL series circuit.
APPARATUS:

 Functional generator
 Oscilloscope
 Bread board
 Inductor
 Resistor

Procedure:
1. Connect the Inductor and resistor in series in the bread board.
2. Connect the probes of functional generator and oscilloscope. Function generator provide the
frequency of 1khz.when 20vp-p is set
3. Connect the cannel 1 of oscilloscope to the resistance and measure the voltage across inductor
using oscilloscope.
4. Determine the phase difference between vR and vL
5. To determine the phase difference between vR and vL connect the channel 2 of the oscilloscope
across Inductor
6. Now draw the phasor diagram according to the measured values.
7. Also verify the result by calculation
