Motivational Tips Guide

Tip 1: Put the student first. Tip 2: Show you understand.


• Be an active listener. • Make sure student feels heard.
• Keep an open mind. • Ask follow-up questions to show your understanding.
• Let student speak as long as necessary. • Try to remain neutral.
