Task 1: Teaching Pronunciation

The focus of this interview is on classroom discourse, which is the focus of Phonology IV.

I will first ask you to read the interview. Try to highlight the parts that you find interesting,
or that ring a bell to you (from contents of other subjects, for example) … If you’ve got the
chance, you can then exchange your views it in twos or threes…

See if you can make your own notes with your reflections. Start with trigger words or
phrases. These are just notes… See if your classmate/s agree/s with you. If there are
differences… where? Why?
