Baguio City
Baguio City
school. It’ll be 2 years this coming February 8, 2018. I am with my friends and
classmates together with our coach that time, we spent almost a week visiting many
touristy spots in Baguio. Travelling from Bicol to Baguio was not easy at all especially
for a person like me who is not fond riding on closed vehicles. It took 12 long hours
when we have reached the road of Kennon where the gigantic Lion’s head can be seen.
Since it one of the most recognizable landmarks in Baguio we never missed the
opportunity to take some photos with it. Aside from Lion’s head we also went at Kennon
road view deck. The store looked like a typical souvenir shop but upon climbing its
viewing deck ladder, there I just realized how captivating the view of Kennon’s
mountainous slope and its daunting curves. I wanted to revisit these places and know
house was welcoming from the open door to the wide living area. It was two storey high
and luckily our bedroom was on the 2nd floor of the house. Up until now I could still feel
After 2 hours of laying down, Mines View Park was the next destination we had
visited. Going there with a slight to moderate traffic ahead on us was a little
inconvenient. Though, once I had witnessed its panoramic and iconic view all I could
say was “WOW”. The view offers a dramatic look of Cordillera mountain range and its
heavenly sea of clouds. As far as I could remember, there was this giant fluffy dog that
really caught my attention he was doing nothing at all but tourists are keeping on taking
photo with it. While I am rooming around the area I noticed lots of vendors selling
different kind of plants and orchids, there is also booths for tourists like us.
Travelling is such a great opportunity to escape in our everyday busy life. Baguio
city will always be one of the best places to relax, to feel at peace and to be indulge in
the beauty of nature. I will forever cherished every moment I spent in Baguio.
