computers, like the Apple
iPad shown above, to
enhance learning. We will
be discussing methods of
effective integration of
tablet computers at our
next department meeting
on September 30. Be

Apps and Grant
Funding
Our department received
a grant intended to help
students’ reading and
writing of foreign
languages. Please
provide me with a list of
the software (including
apps) and additional
reading materials you
would like for your
classroom. Each teacher
can spend up to $600!!!
Fall Activities
Our multicultural festival is
scheduled for late
October. Each language
class will prepare a food
native to their country and
create a PowerPoint
presentation not he
culture, customs, and
favorite cities.
