Emergency Shower and Eye Wash Checklist

9 Delivered water temperature shall not be more than 38°C

12 Distance is no closer than 3 m nor further than 15 m from hazard

No permanent or temporary connections are made to the water supply for

other purposes
Eye wash is equipped with strainer in the water supply to prevent solid
20
particles from entering the eyes.
Vertical background area nominally 1 m wide by 2 m high painted with
21 either alternating green and white stripes approximately 152 mm wide or
a solid green color
The appropriate sign with words, in Arabic and English are mounted in a
22
clearly visible location near the emergency shower and eyewash
23 Eyewashes and showers are provided with drainage
