    CHAPTER 1

    THE PROBLEM AND ITS SETTING

    Introduction

    Sex education is instruction on issues relating to human sexuality, including emotional relations
    and responsibilities, human sexual anatomy, sexual activity, sexual reproduction, reproductive
    health, reproductive rights, safe sex, birth control, and sexual abstinence.
    This programs teaches students on how they will educate themselves towards sex.Evaluation of
    comprehensive sex education programs shows that can help the youth delay onset of sexual
    activity, reduce the number of sexual partners, and increase condom and contraceptive use.
    Not surprisingly, it is comprehensive sex education programs which help the youth remain
    healthy and avoid negative sexual outcomes.

    Ours is a society undergoing transformation. What direction the changes are heading are
    heading for, What are the issues and challenges will confront it,-all these are basic questions
    which are of immediate concern to us as a student,teachers,principals, and guidance staff.
