Percentage Questions and DISCOUNT % questions

CASE 1 ..When % and value are in digits(1 to 9)

u have to count total n.o invove soo it help in placing decimals and than multiply it

like 1% of 1 = 0.01

2% 0f 2 =0.04

9% of 9 =0.81

CASE 2 ..when % and value both are in double digit without any zero

like...11% of 11= 1.21

12% of 12=1.44

19 % of 15 =2.85

CASE 3 ...when value and % both r in double digit having 1 zero than u cancel the zeros

like ...20 % of 20=4

40 % of 30 =12

CASE 4 when % and value both r in double and triple digit and having 1 zero soo again cancel out the
zeros

like ..20 % of 170=34

40% 0f 110=44

CASE 5 .when % are in digit and value are in double digit having 1 zero soo so cancel out the zero

2% of 70=1.4

3% of 90=2.7

DISCOUNT % QUESTIONS

discount % = real price - discount price

E.g ........u have bought shirt of 450 rupee and 20% is discount soo find real cost

soo 20 % of 450= 90

formula real price - discount price =450 -90 =360 is your ans

Profit and loss questions

profit = selling price - cost price /cost price into 100

E.g ....i have bought pen of 40 rupee and sell it with 50 rupee find out the profit

According to formula 50 - 40 /40 into 100=25 %

LOSS question

i have bought book of 60 rupee and sell it with 40 rupee

formula cost price- sell price / cost price into 100

soo 60 - 40 /40 into 100=33.3%
