SummIT, The Technology Cell of NMIMS, Mumbai presents Ace The Case, a Tech driven
Business Case Study. The competition will revolve around providing a feasible and
innovative solution to a real live problem from the industry. With teams participating from all
the premier institutes, this is your chance to show your understanding of different
Technologies in the Business.
The competition will be carried out in 3 rounds:
 Online Quiz [9th October] - The round will be an eliminator round. Quiz will test
your business acumen and knowledge about the latest trends in technology. All the
details regarding the Quiz will be conveyed to the participants before Quiz starts.
 Synopsis [11th October-16th October] - Case Brief will be provided to all the
shortlisted teams from the preliminary round. Selected teams from the preliminary
round fight it out and submit a presentation (5-7 slides) of their solution on the
business problem mentioned in the case. More details will be shared to the shortlisted
teams. The case will be released on 11th October and the submission will be on 16th
October.
 Grand Finale/Case Presentation [19th October] - The National Finalists will present
in the Grand Finale to be held at NMIMS, Mumbai Campus. The teams fight it out on
the business problem mentioned in the case and present their solution before the panel
of judges.

Important Dates:
 Online Quiz - 9th October 2019
 Case Release - 11th October 2019
 Case Submission – 16th October 2019
 Grand Finale – 19th October 2019

Rules to the competition:

 Only the students pursuing Full Time MBA or equivalent programs are eligible to
participate.
 Each team shall comprise of two to three members from the same college.
 Teams may be formed by students in the first year, or second year or a mix of both.
 A participant cannot be a member of more than one team. In case of such a
discrepancy, both the teams will be disqualified.
 First round of the Event will be an Online Quiz. Teams shortlisted from Quiz round
will be provided the Live Business Case.
 Based on the solution submitted for the Case, few shortlisted Teams will be invited to
the NMIMS, Mumbai campus for the final rounds.
 The team members are required to carry their College ID cards compulsorily.
 The e-mail id and phone number used for registration will be used as the medium of
contact throughout the competition.
 Team SummIT’s discretion will be final and binding.
