Plumbing Test:

1. Air pressure test:

The air pressure test for any threaded (low pressure) gas piping shall be at least 10ft head for 15
minutes.

2. Water test:

The water used test shall be obtained from a potable source of supply. A 344.5 Kpa air pressure may be
substituted for the water test.

According to code, a water test may be applied to the drainage and vent system of a two-story residence
in its entirely or in sections.

To meet the code, all sections of a plumbing drainage and vent system must be tested with air or water.

Plumbing Inspection:
Request for inspection by master plumber to the administrative authority are required to be made at
least 3 working days before the work to be tested.

fully paid by the client.

A plumbing permit issued under the plumbing code shall expire and become null and avoid if the
plumbing work so authorized is suspended or abandoned at any time after having been commenced for
a period of 120 days.

Upon issuance of plumbing permit, plumbing installation shall commence within one year.
