Infinidat InfiniBox
The InfiniBox® enterprise storage array delivers faster-than-all-flash performance, high availability, and

Solution: Infinidat InfiniBox + Rubrik

Rubrik and INFINIDAT have come together to build a joint solution for large-scale customers with backup
and recovery requirements in the petabyte scale and beyond.

Leveraging the Rubrik Cloud Data Management Platform software and appliances, customers can back
up their VMware, Windows, Linux and AIX applications. Within Rubrik, the administrator defines Service
Level Agreements (SLAs) that are applied per application. The Rubrik technology then leverages an
“incremental forever” approach to protect the applications against those SLAs. Initially, the backup
copies are stored locally, deduplicated, in the Rubrik “bricks” (i.e. cluster of Rubrik appliances).

The integration with InfiniBox comes in when customers: (1) need to store 100s of TBs or more of
backup data; and/or (2) need to retain data for years for compliance, legal-hold, research & development
or other reasons; and/or (3) need a secure backend storage environment with encryption-at-rest; and (4)
need all of the above without breaking the bank.

Via policy, data is moved from the Rubrik appliances via NFS export to the InfiniBox shares
where it can be stored as a dedicated appliance and/or collocated with other application data.

Through Rubrik integration with InfiniBox, customers achieve high performance, highly scalable,
