YOUR BRAND D.N.A.


We each have a UNIQUE FINGERPRINT that lets us “MAKE OUR MARK” in the world. A set of
beliefs, values, passions & motivations that make us who we are & connect us to others.

This is what I like to call your BRAND DNA.

Your Brand D.N.A. is a combination of your VISION, VALUES, PROMISE, STORY & WHY? It
represents your “unique” expression & commitment out in the world.

When building your brand DNA “foundation” these are the “5” KEY elements you’ll be exploring
which form the SUBSTANCE & SOUL of your brand.

Think of your personal brand as the ‘point of connection’ to the outside world.

Just like an umbrella your personal brand stems from a ‘core’ single foundation (“YOU” & your
‘unique’ message) & from that stems all the other pieces of your brand - Consider these your
“branding touch points” which are all connected & represented by one common theme.

All strong brands focus on something - not many things. In branding ‘less is more.’ Find the ‘common
thread’ & keep your brand foundation simple, memorable & consistent.

Take a minute to reflect on the following questions:

List out all the different ‘brand entities’ you might have under the umbrella of your brand? (For
example: Entrepreneur/Biz owner, Coach/Instructor, Book author)
