What is the APP?

 It Acts As a Point of Contact Between the Seller (Which in this case are Farmers ) and the Buyer.
 It Digitalizes the Human process hence the minimal contact with different people.
 It will show the daily average market rates and historic data for the goods they want and hence make them
negotiate better for both buyer and seller.
 It has Two modes Buyer and the seller.
 Buyer:
o They Can Input their demand, the radius of transport, get the quote for their demand, connect with
seller and chat with them to negotiate.
o They will get multiple sellers and quotes to compare with and will be easier for them to make the
choice.
 Seller: They can update their inventory time to time and Quote Price for the Goods in demand which after will
let buyer contact them for the deal.

Why The App?

 Previously it was controlled by humans it had its own flaws with major issues like, inefficiency of its supply chain,
and cartelization of adithis – mutually and with buyers.
 Wastage in the mandi supply chain is very high because of the number of intermediaries in the chain, especially
for vegetables-nearly 40%. The perishability of vegetables is already very high and that coupled with the
inefficient handling increases the wastage percentage drastically.
 It Reduces the Hierarchy and lets Farmer connect to Buyer directly.
 It is like a a farm-to-fork supply chain, to connect producers directly with the consumers. The argument is, that
this will reduce wastage and make the supply chain more efficient. And since there is only one intermediary,
farmer can get a higher price share in the final price and the end consumer gets it at a lower price, a win-win for
both producer and consumer.
 It Reduces the Risk of being in crowded places for doing business which was the way people were doing it in
mandi.
 Previously It was Supply and then demand as per the supply which used to increase the daily commute of
farmers to mandi in case their lot went unsold, now they can sit at home and supply as per the demand.
