new person with us so introduce yourself please.
Calero:hi my name is calero and i self-medicate because I feel that I stabbed someone in the back
since I have never done something good in my life, everything I spend always ends up harming others
and I don't want to do that and i can't be calm with anything, that's why i don't look like a million
dollars, but I would like for the decisions I make to be for the good of all. and that's why I take
antidepressants and pain relievers but I want to find a better solution.
katherin: thank you calero for sharing your experiences with us i hope you find a comfortable place to
share experiences with us. we always do this so i hope you can trust us eventually, does anyone
wants to talk too? if anyone wants to introduce themselves, please continue.
Sofia: Hello my name is sofia im an alcoholic, i've been sober for 30 weeks but lately i've been going
to parties and i feel the need to drink, i really need to get over this problem so things don’t get out
of hand and I don’t end up hurting someone, i fear that if i don’t face reality soon i'll end up in a really
dark place again. That is why I’m trying to get better by being here.
katherin: i'm so proud of you sofia this experience teach us that we cant sit thigh, we always
need to try to be a better person. Who else wants to talk? .
Daniela: Hi my name is Daniela and I was diagnosticated with social anxiety. My mom thought that
being in this group would be a good idea to face the music. When I’m in places that are very
crowded I feel like I'm drowning in the sea. Also, when I have to do school projects in
groups, especially expositions, I face some problems, because I don't like doing that type of activities,
and when the crunch time is close, sometimes I lose my appetite. Currently, I’m learning some
strategies to deal with this problem, such as repeating a positive thought that helps me to calm me
down and hang in there.
katherin: well guys sometimes things get out of hands and it give us a hard time but daniela is
learning how manage it and that's something to admire and that's the main idea of this group, to find a
safety place to try to manage it .giovanny you haven't talk today would you like to give it a try before
the session ends?

katherin: Well giovanny you have a hard time and the pain will not go away fast you’ll have to give a
chance to do new things to find a way be feel happy, so don't give up because we will support you
and don't forget that here you have a place with people that understand you, were you can unburden
whenever you want , talking about it means a big step for you. I’m happy to be of some help to all of
