Privasi atau kerahsiaan peribadi ialah

keupayaan seseorang individu atau
kumpulan untuk memencilkan diri
mereka sendiri, atau maklumat tentang
diri mereka, dan dengan itu dapat
meluahkan perasaan mereka secara
terpilih. Sempadan dan kandungan untuk
apa yang dianggap privasi berbeza
antara budaya dan individu, tetapi
berkongsi tema yang sama. Apabila
sesuatu itu dianggap privasi atau bersifat
peribadi kepada seseorang, ia biasanya
bermaksud bahawa sesuatu itu sangat
istimewa atau sensitif kepada mereka.
Domain privasi sebahagiannya bertindih
dengan keselamatan (kerahsiaan).
Privasi boleh termasuk konsep
penggunaan dan perlindungan yang
sesuai untuk maklumat. Privasi juga
boleh mengambil bentuk autonomi ke
atas tubuh sendiri.
