Meet Your

Teacher! Miss Moore

This summer, I have the pleasure of teaching your

child First Grade Fundamentals. I completed my

bachelor’s degree from Oakland University in

Elementary Education with a focus in Language

Arts. I have taught in Utica Community Schools.

Now, I teach at Mohawk Elementary in First

Grade.

A little bit about me! I spent my time in college studying,

working with both children and adults with special needs,

while competing at the Division I level in Track and Field for OU.

Fun fact about me though…I’m not a runner. I competed in the

“field.” Specifically, I competed in t wo of the throws: hammer

and discus. Now that my time of competition is over, I’ve found that I enjoy:

traveling (ask me about Alaska or Montana!),

Biggby coffee, spending time with my family and

our t wo cats, exercising, and kayaking.
