Surah Al-Mulk

• One of the last Makki surah’s

• It talks about Allah’s absolute kingship, power and might
• Talks about the neediness and helplessness of humans
• It tells us the purpose of creating this worldly life as a trial for man, who chooses the right path
and who gets tempted and adopts towards wrong
• It tells about the definite coming of day of judgment that is a necessary outcome of this worldly test
• It informs us about the rewards for the good ones and the punishment for the wrong doers
• It emphasizes on using intellect, reflect and get to know Allah
• It also discusses the matters of beliefs, accountability, day of judgment and our position in this
world
• It encourages us to think… where did we come from, why are we here and where will we return to?
• It clearly states that we all belong to Allah and cannot escape from him
 ‫تَ ٰب َر َك الﱠ ِذ ۡى ِبيَ ِد ِه ۡال ُم ۡلكُ َو ُه َوع َٰلى ُك ِّل ش َۡى ٍء قَ ِد ۡي ۙ ُر‬ 1

Blessed is He, the one in whose hand is the Kingdom

and He is all able upon every thing
 ‫تَ ٰب َر َك الﱠ ِذ ۡى ِب َي ِد ِه ۡال ُم ۡلكُ َو ُه َوع َٰلى ُك ِّل ش َۡى ٍء قَ ِد ۡي ۙ ُر‬ 1
Blessed is He the one in whose hand is the Kingdom, and He is all able upon every thing

‫ِب َي ِده‬ 7 Heavens

Source of All Goodness
Owns
Ultimate control
Everything Between ‫ۡال ُم ۡلك‬ Allah ‫ت َ ٰب َر َك‬ Abundance of Goodness
the Heavens and the
Authority Earth
Execute His will
7 Earths

‫قَ ِد ۡير‬
Able to do anything, anytime

Allah has countless treasures even though He gives humans

continuously, yet it doesn’t even decrease His wealth. He
doesn’t need anyone to keep his treasures full. Nothing is
impossible for Him.
 ‫ع َم ًﻼ ؕ َو ُه َو ۡالعَ ِز ۡي ُز ۡالغَفُ ۡو ۙ ُر‬ َ ‫ق ۡال َم ۡوتَ َو ۡال َح ٰيوةَ ِليَ ۡبلُ َوك ُۡم اَيﱡ ُك ۡم ا َ ۡح‬
َ ‫س ُن‬ َ َ‫الﱠ ِذ ۡى َخل‬ 2

The one who has created the death and the life
which of you is best in deed and He is
always all mighty, the most forgiving

So that He tests you

 ‫ع َم ًﻼ ؕ َو ُه َو ۡالعَ ِز ۡي ُز ۡالغَفُ ۡو ۙ ُر‬ َ ‫ق ۡال َم ۡوتَ َو ۡال َح ٰيوةَ ِل َي ۡبلُ َوك ُۡم اَيﱡ ُك ۡم ا َ ۡح‬
َ ‫س ُن‬ َ َ‫الﱠ ِذ ۡى َخل‬ 2
The one who has created the death and the life to test you, which of you is best in deed and He is always
all mighty, the most forgiving
PURPOSE OF LIFE

Worldly Life is a test

‫ِليَ ۡبلُ َوكُم‬ The Death ‫َخلَق‬

The Life
Allah ‫ۡالعَ ِز ۡيز‬ Mighty for
disobedient
Test of being better than before
Example of Allah’s
unique ability
‫ۡالغَفُ ۡور‬
‫ع َمل‬ َ ‫ا َ ۡح‬
َ ‫س ُن‬ Forgiving for obedient
Choosing right according to Quran as mistakes happen
Perform right according to Sunnah

Allah has clearly told humans that worldly life is temporary and only created for
test. So take this test seriously and try to perform your best so you can get good
results in the form of an eternal happy life in Jannah
‫ع َم ًﻼ‬ َ ‫ا َ ۡح‬, over here doesn’t mean Allah requires us to be perfect or be the best of all.
َ ُ‫سن‬

Make the right choice.

For example, on each prayer time Put your best effort in doing

 ‫الر ۡح ٰم ِن ِم ۡن‬ ۡ
‫ق ﱠ‬ ِ ‫ت ِط َباقًا ؕ َما ت َ ٰرى ِف ۡى َخل‬ٍ ‫س ٰم ٰو‬ َ ‫س ۡب َع‬َ ‫ق‬ َ َ‫الﱠ ِذ ۡى َخل‬ 3
َ َ‫ت ؕ فَ ۡار ِج ِع ۡالب‬
ُ ُ‫ص ۙ َر َه ۡل ت َ ٰرى ِم ۡن ف‬
‫ط ۡو ٍر‬ ٍ ‫تَ ٰف ُو‬
So return the vision
The One who created seven skies in layers [to the sky]; do you
You do not see any disharmony in the see any crack?

‫ط ۡو ٍر‬ َ َ‫ت ؕ فَ ۡار ِج ِع ۡالب‬
ُ ُ‫ص ۙ َر َه ۡل تَ ٰرى ِم ۡن ف‬ ٍ ‫الر ۡح ٰم ِن ِم ۡن ت َ ٰف ُو‬
‫ق ﱠ‬ ۡ
ِ ‫ت ِطبَاقًا ؕ َما تَ ٰرى فِ ۡى َخل‬ َ ‫س ۡب َع‬
ٍ ‫س ٰم ٰو‬ َ َ‫الﱠذ ِۡى َخل‬
َ ‫ق‬
The One who created seven skies in layers You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any

disharmony, So return the vision [to the sky]; do you see any crack?

‫ِطبَاقًا‬ 7 Skies ‫َخلَق‬

Organized Allah
In layers
Precise
Perfect ‫ت َ ٰف ُوت‬
No flaws ‫الر ۡح ٰمن‬
‫ﱠ‬
Most Merciful to all of
His creation

Don’t object why Allah has created this temporary life and why He didn’t give us eternal
life in the first place. To get the answer look at His creation, you wont find any flaws
because whatever He does is perfect and has a reason/purpose behind it.
 ‫س ۡي ٌر‬ َ َ‫ص َر َك ﱠرتَ ۡي ِن يَ ۡنقَ ِل ۡب اِلَ ۡي َك ۡالب‬
ِ ‫ص ُر َخا‬
ِ ‫سئ ًا ﱠو ُه َو َح‬ َ َ‫ث ُ ﱠم ۡار ِج ِع ۡالب‬ 4

Then return [your] vision twice. The vision will return to you disgraced while it is exhausted.
 ‫س ۡي ٌر‬ َ ‫ص َر َك ﱠرتَ ۡي ِن َي ۡنقَ ِل ۡب اِلَ ۡي َك ۡال َب‬
ِ ‫ص ُر َخا‬
ِ ‫سئ ًا ﱠو ُه َو َح‬ َ ‫ث ُ ﱠم ۡار ِج ِع ۡال َب‬ 4

Then return [your] vision twice. The vision will return to you disgraced while it is exhausted.

َ َ‫ث ُ ﱠم ۡار ِج ِع ۡالب‬

‫ص َر‬ Keep exploring the universe trying to find flaws in it

‫س ۡي ٌر‬ ِ ‫َخا‬
ِ ‫سئ ًا ﱠو ُه َو َح‬ You will never be able to do so

O’ mankind finding flaws in such a perfect system of

this universe is way beyond you, just exploring it, is
tiring for you. So never forget your limitations
before Allah who is competent and perfect.

‫س ِع ۡي ِر‬ َ َ‫عذ‬
‫اب ال ﱠ‬ ‫صابِ ۡي َح َو َجعَ ۡل ٰن َها ُر ُج ۡو ًما ِلّل ﱠ‬
َ ‫ش ٰي ِط ۡي ِن َوا َ ۡعت َ ۡدنَا لَ ُه ۡم‬ َ ‫س َما ٓ َء الد ۡﱡنيَا بِ َم‬
‫َولَـقَ ۡد َزيﱠـنﱠا ال ﱠ‬

And We have made them as shooting stars

And certainly We have decorated the for the devils and We have prepared for
nearest sky with lamps them punishment of blazing fire
‫س ِع ۡي ِر‬
‫اب ال ﱠ‬ َ ‫صابِ ۡي َح َو َجعَ ۡل ٰن َها ُر ُج ۡو ًما ِلّلش ٰﱠي ِط ۡي ِن َوا َ ۡعت َ ۡدنَا لَ ُه ۡم‬
َ َ‫عذ‬ َ ‫س َما ٓ َء الد ۡﱡنيَا بِ َم‬
‫َولَـقَ ۡد َزيﱠـنﱠا ال ﱠ‬ 5

And certainly We have decorated the nearest sky with lamps And We have made them as shooting stars
for the devils and We have prepared for them punishment of blazing fire

To beautify the sky ‫س َما ٓ َء الد ۡﱡن َيا‬

‫َز ﱠيـنﱠا ال ﱠ‬
Stars
‫صا ِب ۡي َح‬
َ ‫ِب َم‬ To hit the devils ‫ُر ُج ۡو ًما ِلّلش ٰﱠي ِط ۡي ِن‬
We also have a purpose
Find your way This purpose is which is to live a life in
mentioned in another obedience to Allah S.W.T
place in the Quran and strive to pass the test
of this life.

is punishment of Hellfire and how bad

And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the destination
 ‫س ۡال َم ِص ۡي ُر‬
َ ‫اب َج َهنﱠ َ ؕم َو ِب ۡئ‬
ُ َ‫عذ‬
َ ‫َو ِللﱠ ِذ ۡي َن َكفَ ُر ۡوا ِب َر ِبّ ِه ۡم‬ 6
And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is punishment of Hellfire and how bad is the destination

‫َكفَ ُر ۡوا ِب َر ِبّ ِه ۡم‬ Punishment of Hellfire

‫س ۡال َم ِص ۡي ُر‬
َ ‫ِب ۡئ‬ Wretched & Horrible destination

Don’t dare to disobey such a mighty Lord as the

outcome will be horrible
 ‫ش ِه ۡيقًا ﱠو ِه َى تَفُ ۡو ۙ ُر‬ َ ‫اِذَ ۤا ا ُ ۡلقُ ۡوا فِ ۡي َها‬
َ ‫س ِمعُ ۡوا لَ َها‬ 7

And when they are thrown into it, they will

hear its inhaling sound of groaning while it flares up
 ‫ش ِه ۡيقًا ﱠو ِه َى تَفُ ۡو ۙ ُر‬ َ ‫اِذَ ۤا ا ُ ۡلقُ ۡوا ِف ۡي َها‬
َ ‫س ِمعُ ۡوا لَ َها‬ 7

And when they are thrown into it, they hear its inhaling sound of groaning while it flares up

ؕ‫ت َ َكا ُد ت َ َميﱠ ُز ِم َن ۡالغَ ۡي ِظ‬ 8

Its about to burst with rage

Unbearable, annoying, awful sounds

‫ش ِه ۡيقًا‬
َ
Extremely hot
‫تَفُ ۡو ُر‬
Enraged, furious, very angry
‫ۡالغَ ۡيظ‬
 ‫ساَلَ ُه ۡم َخ َزنَـت ُ َه ۤا اَلَ ۡم يَ ۡاتِك ُۡم نَ ِذ ۡي ٌر‬ ٌ ‫ظ ُكلﱠ َم ۤا ا ُ ۡل ِق َى فِ ۡي َها فَ ۡو‬
َ ‫ج‬ ؕ ِ ‫تَ َكا ُد ت َ َميﱠ ُز ِم َن ۡالغَ ۡي‬ 8

Whenever a group is thrown into it

its keepers (will) ask them, did

any warner not come to you?

Its about to burst with rage

 ‫ساَلَ ُه ۡم َخ َزنَـت ُ َه ۤا اَلَ ۡم يَ ۡا ِتك ُۡم نَ ِذ ۡي ٌر‬ ٌ ‫ُكلﱠ َم ۤا ا ُ ۡل ِق َى ِف ۡي َها فَ ۡو‬
َ ‫ج‬ 8
Whenever a group is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, did any warner not come to you?

‫ساَلَ ُه ۡم‬ Angels will ask

? ‫اَلَ ۡم َي ۡا ِتك ُۡم نَ ِذ ۡي ٌر‬
َ

Didn’t a warner come to you?

Its astonishing, how did you
end up here?
Why did you choose the worst
destination? Allah S.W.T sent One who warns about a
messengers as danger out of love and well
warners. wishing just like a mom
warns her child not to go
near a hot stove
 َ ‫قَالُ ۡوا بَ ٰلى قَ ۡد َجا ٓ َءنَا نَ ِذ ۡي ٌر ۙ فَ َكذﱠ ۡبنَا َوقُ ۡلنَا َما نَ ﱠز َل ﱣ ُ ِم ۡن ش َۡى ٍء ۚۖ◌ ا ِۡن اَ ۡنت ُ ۡم ا ﱠِﻻ فِ ۡى‬
‫ض ٰل ٍل َك ِب ۡي ٍر‬ 9

Then we denied and said, Allah did not sent down anything,
They will say, Yes! A warner has come to us
You all are not but in a great misguidance
 َ ‫قَالُ ۡوا بَ ٰلى قَ ۡد َجا ٓ َءنَا نَ ِذ ۡي ٌر ۙ فَ َكذﱠ ۡبنَا َوقُ ۡلنَا َما نَ ﱠز َل ﱣ ُ ِم ۡن ش َۡى ٍء ۚۖ◌ ا ِۡن ا َ ۡنت ُ ۡم ا ﱠِﻻ فِ ۡى‬
‫ض ٰل ٍل َك ِب ۡي ٍر‬ 9
They will say, Yes! A warner has come to us, Then we denied and said, Allah did not sent down
anything, You all are not but in a great misguidance
 ‫س ِع ۡي ِر‬ ۡ َ ‫َوقَالُ ۡوا لَ ۡو ُكنﱠا نَ ۡس َم ُع ا َ ۡو نَ ۡع ِق ُل َما ُكنﱠا فِ ۡۤى ا‬
ِ ‫ص ٰح‬
‫ب ال ﱠ‬ 10
And they will say, if only we had listened or understood we would not have been among the
companions of blazing fire
 ‫س ِع ۡي ِر‬ ۡ َ ‫َوقَالُ ۡوا لَ ۡو ُكنﱠا نَ ۡس َم ُع ا َ ۡو نَ ۡع ِق ُل َما ُكنﱠا فِ ۡۤى ا‬
ِ ‫ص ٰح‬
‫ب ال ﱠ‬ 10
And they will say, if only we had listened or understood we would not have been among the
companions of blazing fire

‫لَو‬ They will regret over

‫نَ ۡع ِق ُل‬ ‫نَ ۡس َم ُع‬

Over not using their Over not listening to

intellect the warnings

The reasons for being

people of the Hellfire
 ۢ
ۡ
‫س ِعي ِر‬
‫ب ال ﱠ‬ ٰ ۡ َ ّ ً
ِ ‫سحقا ِﻻصح‬ ۡ ُ ‫اعت َ َرفُ ۡوا ِبذَ ۡن ِب ِه ۚم ف‬
َ ۡ ۡ َ‫ف‬ 11

Then they will recognize their sin, so curse for the companions of blazing fire
 َ ۢۡ َ‫اعتَرفُ ۡوا بذ‬
‫س ِع ۡي ِر‬ ‫ال‬
‫ِ ﱠ‬ ‫ب‬ ٰ
‫ح‬ ۡ
‫ص‬ َ ّ
‫ﻻ‬ ِ ‫ا‬ ً ‫ق‬‫ح‬ۡ ‫س‬
ُ ‫ف‬ ۚ ۡ
‫م‬ ‫ه‬ ‫ب‬‫ن‬
ِِ ِ َ ۡ َ‫ف‬ 11
Then they will recognize their sin, so curse for the companions of blazing fire

On the Day of Judgement, admitting sins wont

ۡ‫اعت َ َرفُ ۡوا ِبذَ ۡۢن ِب ِهم‬
ۡ َ‫ف‬ benefit anybody, because this Day is when you are
getting the results of the test of your lifetime. Not to
admit and correct your mistakes.

The mercy of Allah S.W.T ُ َ‫ف‬

‫س ۡحقًا‬

Jannah
 ِ ‫ا ﱠِن الﱠ ِذ ۡي َن يَ ۡخش َۡو َن َربﱠ ُه ۡم ِب ۡالغَ ۡي‬
‫ب لَ ُه ۡم ﱠم ۡغ ِف َرةٌ ﱠوا َ ۡج ٌر َك ِب ۡي ٌر‬ 12

Indeed, those who fear their Lord in the unseen

for them is forgiveness and a great reward

 ِ ‫ا ﱠِن الﱠ ِذ ۡي َن يَ ۡخش َۡو َن َربﱠ ُه ۡم ِب ۡالغَ ۡي‬
‫ب لَ ُه ۡم ﱠم ۡغ ِف َرةٌ ﱠوا َ ۡج ٌر َك ِب ۡي ٌر‬ 12
Indeed, those who fear their Lord in unseen, for them is forgiveness and great reward.

All people will not go to Hellfire. The

people who passed the worldly test
will be rewarded by Allah S.W.T
Fear out of knowledge
‫يَ ۡخش َۡو َن َربﱠ ُه ۡم‬ Fear out of
someone's greatness

Forgiveness ‫اَ ۡج ٌر َكبِ ۡي ٌر‬ Mindful of Allah

ٌ‫ﱠم ۡغ ِف َرة‬ Great Reward without seeing Him

ِ ‫ِب ۡالغَ ۡي‬

‫ب‬
Be fearful of Allah S.W.T all the time, whatever you do
doesn’t matter if anyone is watching or not
 ‫صد ُۡو ِر‬
‫ت ال ﱡ‬ َ ‫اج َه ُر ۡوا ِب ٖ ؕه اِنﱠ ٗه‬
ِ ‫ع ِل ۡي ۢ ٌم ِبذَا‬ ۡ ‫س ﱡر ۡوا قَ ۡولَـك ُۡم ا َ ِو‬
ِ َ ‫َوا‬ 13

And if you keep private your speech or make it public indeed He is all knowing about
what is in the chests.
 ‫صد ُۡو ِر‬
‫ت ال ﱡ‬ َ ‫اج َه ُر ۡوا ِب ٖ ؕه اِنﱠ ٗه‬
ِ ‫ع ِل ۡي ۢ ٌم ِبذَا‬ ۡ ‫س ﱡر ۡوا قَ ۡولَـك ُۡم ا َ ِو‬
ِ َ ‫َوا‬ 13
And if you keep private your speech or make it public, indeed He is all knowing about what is in the chests.

Now Allah S.W.T mentions how we can have ‫شيَة‬ِ ‫ َخ‬of Him, so we can be successful. For this
we need to know Allah and recognize His ultimate power, might, control and authority
over us. And how weak, needy and helpless we are before Him.

Know that nothing about you

is hidden from Allah S.W.T

We are so helpless that we

cannot even hide our
thoughts from Allah S.W.T
 ‫ف ۡال َخ ِب ۡي ُر‬ َ ؕ َ‫ا َ َﻻ يَ ۡعلَ ُم َم ۡن َخل‬
ُ ‫ق َو ُه َو اللﱠ ِط ۡي‬ 14
Would not He know, who created? and He is the subtle all aware

ُ ‫اللﱠ ِط ۡي‬
‫ف‬ ‫ۡال َخبِ ۡير‬
 ‫ف ۡال َخ ِب ۡي ُر‬ َ ؕ َ‫ا َ َﻻ يَ ۡعلَ ُم َم ۡن َخل‬
ُ ‫ق َو ُه َو اللﱠ ِط ۡي‬ 14
Would not He know, who created? and He is the subtle all aware

Knows your inner most

hidden secrets
‫اللﱠ ِط ۡيف‬ Allah ‫ۡال َخ ِب ۡي ُر‬ Aware of what is open

َ َ‫َخل‬
‫ق‬
Maker of anything knows most inner things
than anyone else. For example, maker of your
phone knows more than you about your
phone

‫ا َ َﻻ‬
Never forget this fact that Allah is my creator, He knows my inner most intentions,
desires and thoughts
 َ ‫ُه َو الﱠ ِذ ۡى َج َع َل لَـ ُك ُم ۡاﻻ َ ۡر‬
‫ض ذَلُ ۡو ًﻻ فَ ۡامش ُۡوا ِف ۡى َمنَا ِك ِب َها َو ُكلُ ۡوا ِم ۡن ِ ّر ۡز ِق ٖ ؕه َواِلَ ۡي ِه النﱡش ُۡو ُر‬ 15

He is the one who made the earth submissive,

for you all So you all walk in its slopes

and you all eat from His provision

and towards Him is the

resurrection
 َ ‫ُه َو الﱠ ِذ ۡى َجعَ َل لَـ ُك ُم ۡاﻻ َ ۡر‬
‫ض ذَلُ ۡو ًﻻ فَ ۡامش ُۡوا ِف ۡى َمنَا ِك ِب َها َو ُكلُ ۡوا ِم ۡن ِ ّر ۡز ِق ٖ ؕه َواِلَ ۡي ِه النﱡش ُۡو ُر‬ 15
He is the one who made the earth submissive, for you all, So you all walk in its slopes and you all
eat from His provision and towards Him is the resurrection
To

Allah Made .

‫النﱡش ُۡو ُر‬

Is the resurrection
of everyone

Without Allahs mercy we are unable to live and enjoy this Earth. But fear that one
day we all have to go back to Him whether we like it or not. So be prepared for that

will not cause you to sink in the earth while

it suddenly shakes?

ِ ‫س َما ِٓء ا َ ۡن يﱠ ۡخ‬

Do you feel secure that who is in the sky will not cause you sink in the earth
while it suddenly shakes.

Yes, Allah made this to serve us, but if we

َ ‫ف ِب ُك ُم ۡاﻻَ ۡر‬
‫ض‬ ِ ‫يﱠ ۡخ‬
َ ‫س‬ disobey the one who made this Earth
enjoyable for us, then He is also able to
cause this Earth to swallow us

How can you feel secure from Allah S.W.T while disobeying Him on this Earth
 ‫ف نَ ِذ ۡي ِر‬ َ َ‫اصبًا ؕ ف‬
َ ‫ست َ ۡعلَ ُم ۡو َن َك ۡي‬ ِ ‫علَ ۡيك ُۡم َح‬
َ ‫س َل‬ ‫ا َ ۡم اَ ِم ۡنت ُ ۡم ﱠم ۡن ِفى ال ﱠ‬
ِ ‫س َما ِٓء ا َ ۡن ﱡي ۡر‬ 17

He would not send against you a storm of

stones? Then soon you would know how
[severe] was My warning?

Or do you feel secure that He who is in the sky,

 ‫ف نَ ِذ ۡي ِر‬ َ َ‫اصبًا ؕ ف‬
َ ‫ست َ ۡعلَ ُم ۡو َن َك ۡي‬ ِ ‫علَ ۡيك ُۡم َح‬
َ ‫س َل‬ ‫ا َ ۡم اَ ِم ۡنت ُ ۡم ﱠم ۡن فِى ال ﱠ‬
ِ ‫س َما ِٓء ا َ ۡن يﱡ ۡر‬ 17
Or do you feel secure that He who in the sky would not send against you a storm
of stones? Then soon you would know how was My warning

If Allah decides to send against us

ِ ‫علَ ۡيك ُۡم َح‬
‫اصبًا‬ ِ ‫ا َ ۡن يﱡ ۡر‬
َ ‫س َل‬ a storm of stones then we are
unable to stop Him or survive
through it

A storm with sand and stones

‫ف نَ ِذ ۡي ِر‬ َ َ‫ف‬
َ ‫ست َ ۡعلَ ُم ۡو َن َك ۡي‬
Don’t ignore His warnings because He can wipe us out anytime
 ‫ان نَ ِك ۡي ِر‬ َ ‫ب الﱠ ِذ ۡي َن ِم ۡن قَ ۡب ِل ِه ۡم فَ َك ۡي‬
َ ‫ف َك‬ َ ‫َولَـقَ ۡد َكذﱠ‬ 18

And certainly, those who have denied before them, then how [terrible] was my punishment
 ‫ان نَ ِك ۡي ِر‬ َ ‫ب الﱠ ِذ ۡي َن ِم ۡن قَ ۡب ِل ِه ۡم فَ َك ۡي‬
َ ‫ف َك‬ َ ‫َولَـقَ ۡد َكذﱠ‬ 18
And certainly, those who have denied before them, then how [terrible] was My punishment?

Look at the previous nation who denied and

‫الﱠ ِذ ۡي َن ِم ۡن قَ ۡب ِل ِه ۡم‬ disobeyed Allah and see what happened to
them. Strong, mighty nations couldn’t save
themselves against Allah S.W.T’s punishments

‫ان نَ ِك ۡي ِر‬ َ ‫فَ َك ۡي‬

َ ‫ف َك‬

We should take a lesson from the past destroyed nations and live a fearful life on

 ؕ‫الر ۡح ٰم ُن‬ ِ ‫ض ؕ َن ؔ◌ َما يُ ۡم‬
‫س ُك ُه ﱠن ا ﱠِﻻ ﱠ‬ ۡ ‫ت ﱠويَ ۡق ِب‬ ٓ ٰ ‫ط ۡي ِر فَ ۡوقَ ُه ۡم‬
ٍ ‫صفﱣ‬ ‫اَ َولَ ۡم يَ َر ۡوا اِلَى ال ﱠ‬ 19
‫اِنﱠ ٗه ِب ُك ِ ّل ش َۡى ۢ ٍء بَ ِص ۡي ٌر‬

Do they not see towards the birds above them with wings outspread and they fold in? None
holds them except the most merciful. Indeed He is, always all seeing over every thing.
‫ش ۡى ۢ ٍء بَ ِص ۡي ٌر‬ ؕ ُ ‫الر ۡح ٰم‬
َ ‫ن اِنﱠ ٗه ِب ُك ِ ّل‬ ِ ‫ض ؕ َن ؔ◌ َما يُ ۡم‬
‫س ُك ُه ﱠن ا ﱠِﻻ ﱠ‬ ۡ ‫ت ﱠويَ ۡق ِب‬ ٓ ٰ ‫ط ۡي ِر فَ ۡوقَ ُه ۡم‬
ٍ ‫صفﱣ‬ ‫ا َ َولَ ۡم يَ َر ۡوا اِلَى ال ﱠ‬

ُ ‫ن ا ِِن ۡال ٰك ِف ُر ۡو َن ا ﱠِﻻ فِ ۡى‬
ۚ‫غ ُر ۡو ٍر‬ ُ ‫ا َ ﱠم ۡن ٰهذَا الﱠ ِذ ۡى ُه َو ُج ۡن ٌد لﱠك ُۡم يَ ۡن‬
‫ص ُرك ُۡم ِّم ۡن د ُۡو ِن ﱠ‬
ؕ ِ ‫الر ۡح ٰم‬

Or who is the one, that could be an army for

you to help you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not except in deception
 ُ ‫ن ا ِِن ۡال ٰك ِف ُر ۡو َن ا ﱠِﻻ فِ ۡى‬
ۚ‫غ ُر ۡو ٍر‬ ؕ ِ ‫الر ۡح ٰم‬ ُ ‫ا َ ﱠم ۡن ٰهذَا الﱠ ِذ ۡى ُه َو ُج ۡن ٌد لﱠك ُۡم يَ ۡن‬
‫ص ُرك ُۡم ِ ّم ۡن ُد ۡو ِن ﱠ‬ 20
Or who is the one, that could be an army for you to help you other than the Most Merciful?
The disbelievers are not except in deception

Don’t be deceived by all

ُ these things, yes these
Knowledge ‫ُج ۡن ٌد لﱠ ُك ۡم‬ Technology ‫غ ُر ۡور‬ things make you stronger
but are nothing against the
power of ‫الر ۡح ٰمن‬
‫ﱠ‬

Never underestimate Allah S.W.T power, be humble on this Earth

 ُ ‫س َك ِر ۡزقَ ٗه ۚ بَ ۡل لﱠ ﱡج ۡوا فِ ۡى‬
‫عت ُ ّ ٍو ﱠونُفُ ۡو ٍر‬ َ ‫اَ ﱠم ۡن ٰهذَا الﱠ ِذ ۡى يَ ۡر ُزقُك ُۡم ا ِۡن اَ ۡم‬ 21

Or who is the one who will provide you if He

withheld His provision? Rather they have persisted in disobedience
and aversion
 ُ ‫س َك ِر ۡزقَ ٗه ۚ بَ ۡل لﱠ ﱡج ۡوا فِ ۡى‬
‫عت ُ ّ ٍو ﱠونُفُ ۡو ٍر‬ َ ‫اَ ﱠم ۡن ٰهذَا الﱠ ِذ ۡى يَ ۡر ُزقُك ُۡم ا ِۡن اَ ۡم‬
Or who is the one who will provide you if He withheld His provision? Rather 21
they have persisted in disobedience and aversion

What if Allah stops your provision?

Sun, Air, Water are all means of our

provision, yet beyond our control
Yet majority of people don’t
recognize Allah’s power, and
their weakness

Think: how can you rise against the one without whom you cant even breath

Then is the one who walks upside down on

his face more guided ?
or the one who walks upright on a straight path?
 ٍ ‫س ِويا ع َٰلى ِص َر‬
‫اط ﱡم ۡست َ ِق ۡي ٍم‬ ِ ‫ش ۡى ُم ِكبا ع َٰلى َو ۡج ِه ٖ ۤه اَ ۡه ٰ ٓدى ا َ ﱠم ۡن يﱠ ۡم‬
َ ‫ش ۡى‬ ِ ‫اَفَ َم ۡن ﱠي ۡم‬ 22
Then is the one who walks upside down on his face more guided ? or the one who walks
upright on a straight path?

ٍ ‫س ِويا ع َٰلى ِص َر‬

‫اط ﱡم ۡست َ ِق ۡي ٍم‬
Thinks about what he is doing
Doesn’t get impressed by distractions
Able to see far, make right decisions
Reflect and recognize Allah’s power
َ ‫ُم ِكبا ع َٰلى َو ۡج ِه ٖه‬
Blind follower of desires
Gets impressed by distractions
Unable to see far, gets lost
Doesn’t recognize Allah’s power

Reasons why people Reasons why people still

are on the right path insist on wrong actions
 ‫ار َو ۡاﻻَ ۡفـــ َدةَ ؕ قَ ِل ۡي ًﻼ ﱠما ت َ ۡشك ُُر ۡو َن‬
َ ‫ص‬َ ‫س ۡم َع َو ۡاﻻ َ ۡب‬ َ ‫قُ ۡل ُه َو الﱠ ِذ ۡۤى ا َ ۡن‬
‫شاَك ُۡم َو َجعَ َل لَـ ُك ُم ال ﱠ‬ 23

Very little are you grateful

Say, "He is the one who created you

and He made for you the hearing and the vision and the hearts
 ‫ار َو ۡاﻻَ ۡفـــ َدةَ ؕ قَ ِل ۡي ًﻼ ﱠما ت َ ۡشك ُُر ۡو َن‬
َ ‫ص‬َ ‫س ۡم َع َو ۡاﻻ َ ۡب‬ َ ‫قُ ۡل ُه َو الﱠ ِذ ۡۤى ا َ ۡن‬
‫شاَك ُۡم َو َجعَ َل لَـ ُك ُم ال ﱠ‬ 23
Say, "He is the one who created you and He made for you the hearing and the vision and the hearts,
Very little are you grateful

‫قَ ِل ۡي ًﻼ ﱠما ت َ ۡشك ُُر ۡو َن‬

Don’t use their hearing to
listen to the message of Allah
Tools
to
recognize Allah Don’t use their vision to
see the signs of Allah’s ultimate power
Hearing ‫س ۡم َع‬
‫ال ﱠ‬
Don’t use their heart to
reflect and make the right decision

Another reason people aren’t on the right path

 ِ ‫قُ ۡل ُه َو الﱠ ِذ ۡى ذَ َراَك ُۡم ِفى ۡاﻻ َ ۡر‬
‫ض َواِلَ ۡي ِه ت ُ ۡحش َُر ۡو َن‬ 24

Say, " He is the one who has dispersed you in the earth"
and towards Him you will be gathered
 ِ ‫قُ ۡل ُه َو الﱠ ِذ ۡى ذَ َراَك ُۡم فِى ۡاﻻ َ ۡر‬
‫ض َواِلَ ۡي ِه ت ُ ۡحش َُر ۡو َن‬ 24
Say, " He is the one who has dispersed you in the earth, and towards Him you will be gathered."

It is only Allah who sent us to this Earth

ِ ‫ذَ َراَك ُۡم فِى ۡاﻻَ ۡر‬
‫ض‬ and has given us a chance to live on it

‫َواِلَ ۡي ِه ت ُ ۡحش َُر ۡو َن‬

The one who has sent us is You will never be able to run from your creator, be
able to gather us also ready to be gathered and to face the outcomes of
the actions you did in this life
 25

And they say, "When is this promise, ‫َويَقُ ۡولُ ۡو َن َم ٰتى ٰهذَا ۡال َو ۡع ُد ا ِۡن ك ُۡنت ُ ۡم‬
if you are truthful?"
‫ص ِدقِ ۡي َن‬ٰ
 ٰ ‫َويَقُ ۡولُ ۡو َن َم ٰتى ٰهذَا ۡال َو ۡع ُد ا ِۡن ك ُۡنت ُ ۡم‬
‫ص ِدقِ ۡي َن‬ 25
And they say, "When is this promise, if you are truthful?"

‫َم ٰتى ٰهذَا ۡال َو ۡع ُد‬

Oh really will it happen? Preparation of Qiyamah matters, not
its time. Preparation time for each
When???????????? person is until their death.
Ok tell us the exact date. So on hearing that Qiyamah will come
one day, we should start preparing
right away, because death could come
anytime.

Makkans mocking reaction on hearing the warning about

the coming of Qiyamah
 ‫قُ ۡل اِنﱠ َما ۡال ِع ۡل ُم ِع ۡن َد ﱣ ِ َواِنﱠ َم ۤا اَنَا نَ ِذ ۡي ٌر ﱡم ِب ۡي ٌن‬ 26

Say, "The knowledge is only with Allah” and I am only a clear warner.

Only Allah Knows When…

 ‫قُ ۡل اِنﱠ َما ۡال ِع ۡل ُم ِع ۡن َد ﱣ ِ َواِنﱠ َم ۤا اَنَا نَ ِذ ۡي ٌر ﱡم ِب ۡي ٌن‬ 26
Say, "The knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner."

‫اَنَا نَ ِذ ۡي ٌر ﱡم ِب ۡي ٌن‬ ِ ‫اِنﱠ َما ۡال ِع ۡل ُم ِع ۡن َد ﱣ‬

Prophet’s job is only to warn you about Happening of day of Judgment is a matter of unseen
Day of Judgement…
Only Allah knows the unseen
• Will definitely happen
• Accountability of everyone So only Allah knows when
• Justice on that day
• Final homes either Jannah or Hell
• Reform yourself to avoid Hellfire Best answer to the disbelievers reaction
• Do good deeds to please Allah and
get Jannah

That’s all he is here to warn you

‫س ْٓيــ ۡت ُو ُج ۡو ُه الﱠ ِذ ۡي َن َكفَ ُر ۡوا َو ِق ۡي َل ٰهذَا الﱠ ِذ ۡى ك ُۡنت ُ ۡم ِب ٖه تَ ﱠدع ُۡو َن‬
ِ ً‫فَلَ ﱠما َرا َ ۡو ُه ُز ۡلفَة‬ 27
So, when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed,
and it will be said, "This is that which you used to ask for”
 ‫س ْٓيــ ۡت ُو ُج ۡوهُ الﱠ ِذ ۡي َن َكفَ ُر ۡوا َوقِ ۡي َل ٰهذَا الﱠ ِذ ۡى ك ُۡنت ُ ۡم بِ ٖه تَ ﱠدع ُۡو َن‬
ِ ً‫فَلَ ﱠما َرا َ ۡوهُ ُز ۡلفَة‬ 27
So, when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed,
and it will be said, "This is that which you used to ask for”

Today people mock on hearing Day of Judgement like the Makkans. But
what will happen when they see it..

ُ‫س ْٓيــ ۡت ُو ُج ۡوه‬

ِ
Worried
Now face it, this is what you
Horrified Anxious
mocked at and asked for
Distressed Troubled
 ‫ب ا َ ِل ۡي ٍم‬ َ ‫قُ ۡل ا َ َر َء ۡيت ُ ۡم ا ِۡن ا َ ۡهلَـ َك ِن َى ﱣ ُ َو َم ۡن ﱠم ِع َى ا َ ۡو َر ِح َمنَا ۙ فَ َم ۡن يﱡ ِج ۡي ُر ۡال ٰك ِف ِر ۡي َن ِم ۡن‬
ٍ ‫عذَا‬ 28

Say, “Did you consider, If Allah destroys me and

whoever with me, or He shows mercy on us?

then, who will save the disbelievers from a

painful punishment?
 َ ‫قُ ۡل ا َ َر َء ۡيت ُ ۡم ا ِۡن ا َ ۡهلَـ َكنِ َى ﱣ ُ َو َم ۡن ﱠم ِع َى ا َ ۡو َر ِح َمنَا ۙ فَ َم ۡن يﱡ ِج ۡي ُر ۡال ٰك ِف ِر ۡي َن ِم ۡن‬
ٍ ‫عذَا‬
‫ب ا َ ِل ۡي ٍم‬ 28
Say, “Did you consider, If Allah destroys me and whoever is with me, or He shows mercy on us?
then, who will save the disbelievers from a painful punishment?

For a believer one of the two: For a disbeliever only one:

‫ا ِۡن ا َ ۡهلَـ َك ِن َى ﱣ ُ َو َم ۡن ﱠم ِع َى ا َ ۡو َر ِح َمنَا‬ ٍ ‫عذَا‬

‫ب ا َ ِل ۡي ٍم‬ َ

Chance to be forgiven Might get punished Definite punishment, no escape

and get Jannah
 ‫ض ٰل ٍل ﱡمبِ ۡي ٍن‬ َ َ‫علَ ۡي ِه ت َ َوك ۡﱠلنَاۚ ف‬
َ ‫ستَ ۡعلَ ُم ۡو َن َم ۡن ُه َو فِ ۡى‬ َ ‫الر ۡح ٰم ُن ٰا َمنﱠا بِ ٖه َو‬
‫قُ ۡل هُ َو ﱠ‬ 29

Say, "He is the Most Merciful; in Him we have

believed, and upon Him we have trusted”.

Then very soon you will know, who is in clear error

 ‫ض ٰل ٍل ﱡم ِب ۡي ٍن‬ َ َ‫علَ ۡي ِه ت َ َوك ۡﱠلنَاۚ ف‬
َ ‫ستَ ۡعلَ ُم ۡو َن َم ۡن ُه َو فِ ۡى‬ َ ‫الر ۡح ٰم ُن ٰا َمنﱠا ِب ٖه َو‬
‫قُ ۡل هُ َو ﱠ‬ 29
Say, "He is the Most Merciful; in Him we have believed, and upon Him we have trusted”. Then very soon
you will know, who is in clear error.

We trust in our Most Merciful Lord that He

will save us in Dunya and Akhirah َ َ‫ف‬
‫ست َ ۡعلَ ُم ۡون‬
‫علَ ۡي ِه ت َ َوك ۡﱠلنَا‬
َ
At time of Death and on Day of
Judgment, it will be obvious to
‫الر ۡح ٰم ُن‬
‫ﱠ‬ a disbeliever that they were in
clear error

‫ٰا َمنﱠا ِب ٖه‬

We believe in our Lord’s Mercy and have ‫ض ٰل ٍل ﱡم ِب ۡي ٍن‬
َ
strong hope for His Jannah
 ‫غ ۡو ًرا فَ َم ۡن يﱠ ۡاتِ ۡيك ُۡم ِب َما ٍٓء ﱠم ِع ۡي ٍن‬ ۡ َ ‫قُ ۡل اَ َر َء ۡيت ُ ۡم ا ِۡن ا‬
َ ‫صبَ َح َما ٓ ُؤك ُۡم‬ 30
Say, "Have you considered: if your water becomes sunken [into the earth], then who
will bring you flowing water?"
 ‫غ ۡو ًرا فَ َم ۡن يﱠ ۡاتِ ۡيك ُۡم ِب َما ٍٓء ﱠم ِع ۡي ٍن‬ ۡ َ ‫قُ ۡل اَ َر َء ۡيت ُ ۡم ا ِۡن ا‬
َ ‫صبَ َح َما ٓ ُؤك ُۡم‬ 30
Say, "Have you considered: if your water becomes sunken [into the earth], then who
will bring you flowing water?"

Allah takes away

‫ا َ َر َء ۡيت ُ ۡم‬ َ ‫َما ٓ ُؤك ُۡم‬
‫غ ۡو ًرا‬ water from this Earth

‫فَ َم ۡن يﱠ ۡاتِ ۡيك ُۡم‬ You won’t be able to bring it back

We are so helpless

So be humble before Allah, because we are dependent on him so we should not make Him angry

‫نَ ْﺤ ُﻦ‬ ‫اِذَا‬ ‫ث ُ ﱠم‬
the one
who ‫اَلﱠ ِذى‬ we when upon ‫ع َلى‬
َ Then

those who
‫اَلﱠ ِذ ْي َن‬ only ‫اِنﱠ َما‬ except ‫ا ﱠِﻻ‬ say ‫قُ ْل‬ You all ‫ُك ْم‬
