SUMMIT Inspection Services Ltd. is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated individual to fill a full-time hourly Technician Assistant position at our
NDT inspection service company. This position requires out of town travel with possible short notice. SUMMIT Inspection Services Ltd. has
provided in-service pressure vessel inspections predominately to the Oil and Gas industry across western Canada since 2004, and is seeking a
friendly and team oriented person to assist us in our future growth.
Responsibilities

Utilize and set up equipment in nondestructive test

Assist NDT technicians in the calibration of NDT equipment’s
Assisting the NDT technicians in conducting tests in order to ensure the quality or detecting deficiencies using the NDT procedures of
inspecting
record the results of the inspections and also perform NDT methods and other operations
Responsible in performing tasks that are job related as assigned by management
Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on equipment
Ensure work performed is in regulation to applicable codes, standards, and specifications
Communicate with clients in a friendly, efficient and professional manner when interacting with them
Maintain company vehicles and materials (clean, maintain and report deficiencies to supervisors)
Maintain a clean shop area and ensure all work areas are tidy, clean and free of clutter

Qualifications
Minimum Safety Certifications: Petroleum Safety Training (PST), H2S Alive, Emergency First Aid, Confined Space Training/Rescue, Fall
Protection
Other Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) pre-employment training considered an asset
Additional certifications an asset (Gas Testing/Monitoring, Emergency Fire Fighting, etc.)
