FO DISTRIBUTION PANEL INSTALLATION AT FLOOR:

MANPOWER: 1 Team (in each team 2 persons)

 The works will be carried out by experienced technicians under the supervision of
experienced engineers from both the Sub-Contractor (contacts attached) and main
contractor.
 The engineers will brief the personnel involved in the activity before the works Commence.
This will involve going through the method statement, emergency procedures.
 FDP installation location to be approved by FEWA
 Check the level of the Frame or floor with the liquid level indicator on which we go to install
the FDP.
 As per specified drawing, make the hole on Frame or on the floor according to the hole given
in the FDP or plinth.
 Place FDP exactly above the hole what we have made and tight it with appropriate nuts &
bolts.
 Check the level of the FDP, which is installed with the liquid level indicator.
 Check the gap between the adjacent panels, it should be identical throughout the height or if
there is any variation use some packing to make the gap identical.
 Connect the main earthing of the FDP to the main earthing bar of the station.
 Connect the door earthing (front & back) properly to the FDP.
 Clean the site properly after installation of the FDP.

FO DISTRIBUTION PANEL INSTALLATION AT WALL:

 The following is to be carried out by the site engineer prior to the installation
of the Wall mounted panel.
 There should be good and safe access around the area where the panel is
to be installed.
 Ensure the availability of Work Permit and approved drawings from
Client before starting the work.
 The wall mounted cabinet to be installed as per the approved drawing
from Client.
 The engineers will brief the personnel involved in the activity before the
works Commence. This will involve going through the method statement.
 The works will be carried out by experienced foremen and
Skilled workers, under the supervision of experienced engineers from
both the Sub-Contractor, main contractor and the Client.
 With the complete dimension of the wall mounted panel, mark the
area on the wall as per the approved drawing.
 Holes are made on the wall with a drill machine for fixing the panel.
 Din rail channels are fixed with the fixer bolts.
 Wall mounted Panel is fixed on the din rails with the help of spring bolts
and nuts.
 The leveling is done with mercury level.
 Clear site and dispose of all waste materials & debris.
