 ABSTRACT

The researchers conducted a study about the activities of the albularyos and
their believers because the information about them is lacking. The researchers also
assessed how albularyos co-exist in the modern society where clinics and hospitals are
abundant. In this research, the researchers identified who are the customers or the
believers of these practices and how the practices of albularyos changed over time. The
researchers also found out that there are still individuals who are willing to learn the
methods of the albularyos .
The researchers observed that the albularyos uses modern medical tools such as
cotton and alcohol for their rituals and treatments, but even with these modernizations
the numbers of individuals who still believes on the medical and traditional practices of
albularyos is decreasing over time. At the end of the research the researchers concluded
that the albularyos was not yet forgotten by the people of this country but the numbers
of their believers and followers is depleting rapidly over time. Still, this is not the end
for the albularyos and there’s are still people who are willing to learn the rituals and
practices of the albularyos and they have the same principle to heal people who have
illnesses.
The researchers recommends this study to the government, media, medical
professionals and the future researchers to expand this study and spread awareness to
the citizens that the albularyos have roles in this society and their ancient practices must
not be forgotten.
