LONDON – Fears that China will tighten its monetary policy hit stock
markets Thursday ahead of another batch of U.S. corporate earnings
statements.

The news that China's economy grew by 9.8 percent in the fourth
quarter of 2010, up from 9.6 percent in the previous three-month
period, fueled speculation that the monetary authorities will have to do
more to cool the economy and ease inflationary pressures.
China has already moved towards tighter monetary policy. In the past
four months, it has raised interest rates twice. And last week, the
central bank raised the amount of money banks must keep on reserve
for the seventh time in a year, which put the rate for major banks at
19.5 percent.

E AGLE’S LANDING COUNTRY CLUB IN STOCKBRIDGE.

“HENRY COUNTY IS A PACE-SETTER,” SHE SAID. “WE ARE GOING TO LEAD THE WAY TO THE FINISH LINE. WHILE OTHER COMMUNITIES ARE
COLLAPSING UNDER THE STRAIN, HENRY COUNTY IS PULLING AHEAD, HAVING ATTRACTED SEVERAL NEW INDUSTRIES TO OUR COMMUNITY .”

MATHIS ACKNOWLEDGED THAT FINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS HAVE PLACED A BURDEN ON AREA RESIDENTS. “HENRY COUNTY’S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IS STILL

County to build new firing range

Construction of the range is planned on a 168-acre site purchased by the county in 2008.

Construction for the range is in-house by the Henry County Department of Transportation for a total cost of $105,370.

Only $37,370 will come from the county’s general fund budget, with $34,000 contributed from the police department’s asset
forfeiture and seized funds account.

Only $105,370. Only $37,370. Remember the $4 Million paid for the property.

Tell Cobb County NO SPLOST

As we did in 2005, the Cobb County Taxpayers Association is leading the opposition to the SPLOST extension placed on the ballot by
the Cobb Board of Commissioners at their specially-called meeting on December 14th.

While we have already achieved minor victories by causing the Commission to shorten the length of this SPLOST from six years to four
and reducing the cost to taxpayers from $748 million to $490 million, your help is needed to defeat the SPLOST at the ballot box on
March 15, 2011.

We aren't going to flood your inbox with information about the SPLOST campaign. It's not our style to flood your inbox with every tidbit
about the campaign. We use our social media accounts (Twitter & Facebook) and our website to keep you up-to-date. Typically, we
use this list to inform you of upcoming meetings and events.

LOOKING BEYOND MIDNIGHT – HOPE FOR THE UNEMPLOYED AND THE REST

311,909,786 (that’s in millions) is the projecte4d number of people living in America on January 18, 2011. To put this into
perspective:

One birth every …………………………………… 8 seconds

One death every…………………………………..11 seconds
One international migrant (net) every …..45 seconds
Net gain of one person every…………………15 seconds
Statistics provided by U.S. Bureau of the Census

Of those 311+ million, 9.4% of them are unemployed according to the Economist Magazine’s Weekly Indicators column,
January 16, 2011.

Staggering numbers.

Of the 9.4% how many of them need an expression of Hope or a word of encouragement? All of them.

Of the 311,909,786 (that’s in millions), how many of them need a reminder that tomorrow’s 24 hour cycle… which begins at
midnight… can be a better day? All of them.

Earlier today, I emailed five international leaders in the field of executive recruitment attaching a previous edition of Looking
Beyond Midnight and added the following excerpt:

1st Annual St. Patty’s Day Run benefitting the Sacred Journey Hospice Foundation
Join us for the 1st Annual St. Patrick Day 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk benefitting the Sacred Journey Hospice Foundation.
The foundation is a non-profit arm of Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough. The foundation provides
scholarships for students in the medical field and hosts a summer camp for kids that have lost a loved one, but the

placed second to another hard hit area Greene County, AL. What you might not know is
Greene County is the smallest county in Alabama in population. Henry has 20 times the

How much Government is a convenience – and not needed?
Hey Henry, to everyone complaining about the library hours, give it a break. These services
are a convenience to us, not a necessity. Be thankful our emergency services and water are
still being provided.
This writer to the Henry Times hit an important point. Parks, organized sports, Life Management … we
pay taxes to fund a lot of things we do not need.
Just use reduced library hours as the benchmark. While the county budget was reduced last year, the
commissioners also increased our property tax millage rate. As we all know, more and deeper cuts
need to be made.
McDonough Arts announces Juried Art Show winners
Season opening event attracts record number of guests
McDonough, Ga -- McDonough Arts opened its 2011 season with a Juried Art Show and
reception at Winsor Gallery on Friday, January 14. More than 100 guests came in from the cold to
enjoy complimentary hors d' oeuvres, wine, fine art, and warm fellowship. The exhibition is an annual juried
show of paintings in acrylic, oil, pastel, and watercolor. During the event the following awards were
presented:
Best of Show ($300)- Kay Ridge for The Golden Meadows, pastel
1st place ($200) - Brandi Hickman for The Red Bridge, oil

All Henry County 912ers and Henry County Patriots,

We have been talking about local politics and how important it is to restoring our Nation to the condition that our
Founding Fathers intended for some time. The time is now here for us to become involved.

On Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10:00AM, the Henry County Republican Party will hold its Precinct Caucus. The
location has not yet been announced, however, I will pass this on to you as soon as it is determined.

This meeting serves to elect Precinct Officers to and elect Delegates and Alternates to the County Conventions. In order
to make the Caucus more user friendly, we will be having an educational session this Monday, January 24th. We will
meet at our normal meeting place, the Henry County Park and Rec Building at 99 Lake Dow Road at 7:00PM.

I strongly believe that the information you receive at this meeting will contribute to your overall contributions and
effectiveness at the Precinct Meeting. I am looking forward to seeing you on Monday evening.

Powers Reserved to the States and the People

Here is Amendment X as it is written in the Bill of Rights.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to
the States respectively, or to the people.

The first ten Amendments were adopted by the first Congress called to meet in New York City on March 4, 1789. They
were later ratified by the various States, and on December 15, 1791, were made part of the Constitution.

Think about this very carefully, all the powers not handled by the United States Government by the Constitution and are
not prohibited by it to the States, are given solely to each State or to the citizens. This is a very large responsibility
given to the States and the citizens of this nation.

Remember the Constitution was written to protect us from the government not the other way around.

Second Amendment Rights

The Bill of Rights to the Constitution of the United States grants citizens the right to keep and bear arms. Recall
Thomas Jefferson’s words: The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last
resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

"How many other people? How many other demented people are out there? It looks like (former Republican vice
presidential nominee Sarah) Palin, (radio and TV commentator Glenn) Beck, (defeated Nevada Senate candidate)
Sharron Angle and the rest got their first target. Their wish for Second Amendment activism has been fulfilled."
James Eric Fuller, 63, was a victim of the Tucson tragedy last week. Fuller was struck twice -- in the knee and
back. He was involuntarily committed for psychiatric evaluation on Saturday after he grew agitated, stood up to
snap a picture of Tucson Tea Party founder Trent Humphries and shouted, "You're dead," police said.

Modern day activists for Second Amendment rights are not, in any way, advocates for wanton violence or even
the potential of unprovoked attacks. The mantra of gun control advocates, primarily Left-Wing groups, rings false from
the beginning. Placing blame for a senseless act of cruel and inhuman, even sociopathic, rage upon innocents is hype
and rhetoric. It is the false blame and declaration of Us vs. Them that provokes Americans to fear socialism, centralized
government and the power brokers now seated in Washington.

Thomas Jefferson: “And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time,
that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. … The tree of liberty must be refreshed
from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

Patrick Henry: “Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel.
Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined…The
 great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun.

Samuel Adams: “The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the
United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms.”

George Mason: “To disarm the people (is) the best and most effectual way to enslave them.”

Our nation’s Founding Fathers knew the dangers we have endured in the United States. There are arguments that
Lincoln’s War was actually a grand coup to centralize power in Washington. Since the 1930s our government has grown
in magnitude and scope to include all manner of social welfare and programs now enslaving us with over $14 Trillion
national debt.

Let us, please, face the realities of failed governments across Europe and the former Soviet Union. Socialism and
Communism do not work. Our Constitution is the rock-solid foundation on which we can rely. And upon which so many
have already fought and died to preserve.
