STATISTICS OF CHILD ABUSE IN CAVITE

I. INTRODUCTION

1. Our final output will include data and facts about child abuse issues here
in Cavite. It will also consist of a possible solution to the issue.
2. This research is important for us because as psychology students, we
should probably deal with this issue. Our purpose in this research is to be
updated about child abuse cases in Cavite and to be able to extend our
hands to help children and if possible, prevent the increase of child abuse
within the vicinity.
3. The subject topics in College Algebra that we will incorporate into our
research are polynomials, rational expressions, and linear equations.

II. METHODOLOGY

We can develop our content by researching through the internet,

conducting interviews, observation and doing surveys. We will make use of
symbolic representation in order to categorize our plan or data; numerical
representation for the data to be specific and for it to be easy to analyze;
graphical representation to demonstrate the population of the abused children
and verbal representation to defend and explain our research. We will gather
our data here in Cavite, specifically, DSWD and other organizations that take
care of abused children.

III. ORGANIZATION

First, we will state the issue to be discussed, describe and explain it. Then
we will show the data that we will gather. Then state the possible solution that
is applicable to the issue.

For the group project, in order to distribute the tasks equally, we will
assign individuals to conduct an interview, another will do the survey, one will
collect all the information gathered, the other will prepare the presentation
and there will be one to explain and defend the research.

IV. DISCOURSE

We are to present our research through a PowerPoint presentation.

 V. CHALLENGE

We think the biggest difficulty that we would encounter in completing this

research will be the gathering of data for the issue, considering the large
scope of the vicinity. We plan to meet this challenge, first, by of course,
asking God for wisdom and by entrusting to Him our research. Second,
through the combined effort of each members in our group. And third, by our
diligence and willingness in carrying out this project. We will make use of the
internet, different books and some articles to get accurate data.

In this project we hope to learn, first, to cooperate with each other and
respect one another’s ideas. We also hope that through this,, we will be able
to understand our Math lessons more and to be anle to appreciate it as we
see that it could be applied in everyday circumstances. we Also look forward
that through this research, we will be able to know and understand the issue
around our community.
