SUMMER VACATION

Dear Parents, Date: 20th May, 2020

Greetings of the day!!!!

This is to inform you all there will be a summer break from Monday, 25 th
May, 2020 to Monday, 15th June, 2020. The online classes will resume
from 16th June, 2020. Please note the following points:

 FOR CLASSES PRE NURSERY – K.G :

 On Friday, 22nd May, 2020 a theme- based online- session will be

conducted wherein the teachers and the students will party
together. The details/ dress code/ material required will be shared
with you by the class teachers.

 There will be no holiday homework during the vacation.

 Videos will be broadcasted on weekdays from 1st June, 2020 – 15th

June, 2020.

 Two online sessions will be held from 1st June, 2020 – 15th June,
2020 which will be intimated prior.

 FOR CLASSES I – VIII :

 There will be no academic classes on Thursday, 21st May, 2020

and Friday, 22nd May, 2020. Fun activities, games, riddles, puzzles
etc will be conducted for the students of Grade 1 – 5.

 For Grade 6 – 8 regular classes will be held on Thursday, 21st May,

2020 and Friday, 22nd May, 2020.
  On Saturday, 23rd May, 2020 a theme- based online- session will be
conducted wherein the teachers and the students will party
together. The details/ dress code/ material required will be shared
with you by the class teachers.

 There will be no holiday homework / online classes during the

vacation. Only few online activity classes will be conducted during
the summer break for which the schedule will be shared shortly.

 English Language Enhancement will continue in form of idioms/

proverbs/ homophones etc. It will continue throughout the
vacation everyday. Please encourage your ward to read and use it
in day to day conversation.

 Reading a good book/ watching a good programme on Discovery/

BBC Earth/ History Channel every day, will help your ward to
improve his/her language skills. Please encourage that.

NOTE:

 Cycle tests/ Periodic Assessments will be conducted in the last

week of June which will comprise of objective - subjective type
questions.
 The date-sheet and syllabus will be shared shortly and the mode of
tests will be shared with you once the vacation is over.
 The tests will be based on the lessons/ concepts covered so far
(concepts covered in the months of March, April and May). Please
note that the revision of syllabus coming for Periodic Tests will be
done by the teachers from 16th June, 2020 in the online classes.
