Re: Semester Two – Reviews – Revision 3

In order that everyone receives the same ‘launch’ before Easter, ALL reviews will be held on
Wednesday 24 March in the order 6 / 5 / 2 / 1 / 8 / 7 / 4 / 3. The Review will commence at 9.00 and
each brief session will review drawings on the wall / models only without spoken presentation and
advice given. Group 6 should be on the walls for 09.00 sharp please. Greyed tone is time now used.

Review One: 20 January for students in Groups 1, 2, 5, and 6

22 January for students in Groups 3, 4, 7, and 8
Emphasis: Fully drawn outline design with clearly illustrated 3-dimensional
spatial ideas.

Review Two: 03 February for students in Groups 5, 6, 7, and 8

05 February for students in Groups 1, 2, 3, and 4
Emphasis: Review of integrated environmental, structural and
constructional strategies.

ARUP Workshop 1: 09 February (schedule to be issued)

ARUP Workshop 2: 10 February (schedule to be issued)

Review Three: 17 February for students in Groups 1, 2, 5, and 6

19 February for students in Groups 3, 4, 7, and 8
Emphasis: Integration of ARUP consultancy advice and fully drawn building
design.

Review Four: 10 March for students in Groups 8, 7, 6 and 5

12 March for students in Groups 4, 3, 2 and 1
Emphasis: Review of key 1:50 drawings with environmental, structural and
constructional detail.

ARUP Workshop 3: 16 March (schedule has been issued)

ARUP Workshop 4: 17 March (schedule has been issued)

Review Five: 24 March for students in Groups 6, 5, 2 and 1 in the morning and Groups 8,
7, 4 and 3 in the afternoon.
Emphasis: Drawings only - Integration of ARUP consultancy advice and
fully drawn revised building design.

The Easter break will be during week commencing 29 March and week commencing 05 April.

ARUP Workshop 5: 13 April (schedule has been issued)

ARUP Workshop 6: 14 April (schedule has been issued)

Review Six: 21 April for students in Groups 5, 6, 7, and 8

23 April for students in Groups 1, 2, 3, and 4
Emphasis: Review of all model and drawn material as an integrated
building design.

There will then be four weeks for you to complete your CDP, with the Project Report being
completed by 07 May.

Portfolio Reviews: 12 May for students in Groups 1, 2, 3, and 4 (schedule to be issued)

14 May for students in Groups 5, 6, 7, and 8 (schedule to be issued)

External Examination: 20 May 2010 (schedule to be issued)
