Title of the synopsis

A detailed study

of Promotion and reward policy of VITA dairy

Employee Promotion and reward policy directly connects with employee satisfaction which is typically
measured using an employee satisfaction survey. These surveys address topics such as compensation,
workload, perceptions of management, flexibility, teamwork, resources, etc. These things are all
important to companies who want to keep their employees happy and reduce turnover, but employee
satisfaction is only a part of the overall solution. In fact, for some organizations, satisfied employees are
people the organization might be better off without. Employee satisfaction and employee engagement
are similar concepts on the surface, and many people use these terms interchangeably. Employee
satisfaction covers the basic concerns and needs of employees. It is a good starting point, but it usually
stops short of what really matters.

The principal objectives of the study are as hereunder:

 To identify the factors which influence the job satisfaction of employees of

 To assess the satisfaction level of employees of

Problem statement & literature

No organization could last without their employees. Employees are the main reason an
organization could exist for a long time. Employees join organizations with certain motives like security
of income and job, better prospects in future, and satisfaction of social and psychological needs. Every
person has different sets of needs at different times. It is the responsibility of management to recognize
this basic fact and provide appropriate opportunities and environments to people at work to satisfy their
needs. Employees have attitudes or viewpoints about many aspects of their jobs, their careers, and
their organizations. The most common way of measurement is the use of rating scales where employees
report their reactions to their jobs. Questions relate to relate of pay, work responsibilities, variety of
tasks, promotional opportunities the work itself and co-workers.

One of the main roles of Human Resources (HR) departments is to ensure that employees
are sufficiently satisfied with their jobs. Typically research has shown that satisfied employees or
corporations are thought to be more productive. On the other hand, if workers are dissatisfied with their
jobs, they are thought to be less productive and more prone to absenteeism and turnover. So HR
departments need to measure employee job satisfaction and examine the correlations between these
three variables (productivity, absenteeism, and turnover) with regard to possible extraneous variables.
Human Resources Consulting, Inc. is hired by a medium-sized financial firm to conduct a survey
addressing these topics. The survey, which is administered to the entire worker population, quantifies
job satisfaction and employee. The general job satisfaction feedback will help HR in identifying the
percentage of satisfied employees and the percentage satisfied in the areas of compensation, benefits,
training, and supervisor relations.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:

The methodology, which is also known as the systematic procedure, which is followed for this marketing
research project includes steps which are as follows:-

 Problem definition
 Development of an approach to the problem

 Determining the sources of data
 Determining the sample design and sample size
 Data collection method
 Analysis and presentation of collected data

SOURCES OF DATA COLLECTION

Basically there are two types of data i.e. primary and secondary: -

 Primary Data Collection

 Secondary Data Collection Primary

For evaluating the objectives of the study, both primary and secondary data were utilized. The
primary data were collected from the respondents through pretested questionnaire in VITA dairy.

SECONDARY DATA:

 Secondary data was collected through following sources.

 Available Books, Thesis and Dissertation
 Published research studies, journals, reports, articles, research papers, etc.
 Data through internet source
 Annual Reports of the selected Dairy
The collected information was classified and tabulated. The data were objectively analyzed and
suitable conclusions were drawn. F- test have been applied to test the validity of hypothesis.
