 Working within Vodafone’s Dedicated Services team managing and implementing both WAN,
LAN and Wireless LAN.

 Managing Wi-Fi issues related to Access Point, Wireless Controller.
 Providing quick resolution to hardware related issues like module replacement, fan replacement,
device replacement.
 Engaging with the other service providers in performing various tests on the network to isolate
the issue.
 Responsible for guiding on-site/field engineers to troubleshoot hardware related issues on Cisco,
Alcatel, Juniper routers and switches.
 Managing the replacement and return of failed devices with hardware suppliers in accordance
with SLA. Utilizing escalations matrices where required.
 Responsible to provide quick restoration of the service by shifting the traffic from one device to
other, also for installation of 3g router in case of critical issues.
 Joining conference calls with service providers to solve complex networking issues.
 Notifying the customer and internal stakeholders of the fault and the impact to the network.
 Activation of new services onto the network and ensure quality is maintained by testing and
ensuring any network changes are recorded and logged onto configuration databases.

Implementation in BT’s Core MPLS Network (PE and P Routers); Updating the Network Design when
required
Responsible for Change management tasks like configuration Changes & troubleshooting in both PE and
P Routers.
The change management activities include Router/Site migrations, Core Trunk Migrations, IOS/JUNOS
upgrades, QoS Changes like Bandwidth Upgrade/Downgrade, MPLS-TE Tunnel Migrations etc. across
the BT MPLS and IA network.
Configuration and troubleshooting for MPLS L3VPN, L2VPN, MPLS-TE in BT’s MPLS backbone
network.
Configuration and troubleshooting for protocols like OSPF, BGP and MPLS.
Responsible for creating and executing Perl/Linux scripts to push configuration from centralized server to
multiple routers.

Implementation of configuration changes across multi-vendor network core devices as Cisco ASR- 1K &
ASR-9K along with Juniper MX960, Alcatel 7750 Routers .
