Position Title
Renewable Energy Engineer - PV and Wind

Reporting to Head of Development - Construction

Direct Reports 0

Position Purpose
To be a key member of a growing technical team and manage all PV design and
engineering tasks, as well as being the interface with external design consultants.
Oversee the engineering related aspects of our solar, wind projects, and provide support
to the project managers as required.

Responsibilities

 Preliminary design of wind and solar PV plant layouts

 Performing site screening assessments and due diligence activities
 Performing preliminary grid studies
 Preparation of electrical specifications for renewable energy systems
 Evaluation of grid codes and outsourced grid study report
 Performing SLDs, solar PV plant layouts, and electrical BoP designs
 Calculating MV and HV cable losses
 Performing energy yield assessments and system sizing
 Support in drafting EPC and PPA technical schedules
