STATEMENT OF PROBLEM

 The Real notion of the research is to address the effects of demand and supply of oil,its prices and the
impact on indian economy.

Crude oil plays a viral role in almost every economy and its supply and demand along with the
production parameters play a vital role in the economy and determines the foreign exchange rates of
various countries and it is said to have an indirect relationship with gold and other commodities.

The Supplements of the crude oil too plays a crucial role as they are considered important according to a
nation's needs for example India being a primary consumer of petrol than the crude as a whole.This
helps in determining the exchange ratios.

The basic price of crude oil is always lesser the import taxes make it more costly for a common man. The
price of petrol or other related products increases accordingly which results in increase in expenditure
of a common man.

SCOPE

The relationship between the crude oil and the uses rendered by the commodity(the usage intensity of
them in industries,automobiles etc) and its supplements (such as petroleum,diesel) over a period of five
years(2015-2020) in comparison with developed countries ,developing countries and underdeveloped
countries (US vs India vs Kenya etc ) with the sample of a developed country,developing country and an
underdeveloped country.
