Write an email to the police in about 150-200 words. Your email should do

 Explain when and where you saw the accident.

 Describe the road conditions, what you saw, and how many people and vehicles were
involved.
 Explain who you feel was responsible and why.

Dear Police Officer,

I was driving to work on August 27, 2020, around 7 a.m., and was surprised by a car accident in the
highway 401 involving 3 cars. The scene was so scary since one of the cars was upside down. The
accident occurred in the kilometre 27, close to the exit to downtown.

On the night before the accident, there was a heavy snowstorm, leaving over 25 centimetres of snow in
the road, and the visibility at the time wasn't clear. The black Hyundai was complete damage,
apparently, it flipped several times. The man driving was still inside the car since the damage didn't
allow him to leave the car. The red SUV with a woman and a child was damaged in the back and the
third vehicle, a white Toyota, driven by an old man was slightly damaged. Apparent, all victims had no
injured.

The road was busy and I believe the Hyundai driver wasn't pre attention in the conditions and tried to
stop suddenly, however, the black ice, caused by the weather conditions, made him lost control of the
car, hitting the back of the SUV and the Toyota.

School Lunch Survey

Your children’s school provides free school lunches. Usually the lunch is a hamburger, hotdog, or
pizza. The children really enjoy the lunches. Some parents want to change the lunches so that the
children eat salad or vegetables every day. The school asked you to respond to an opinion survey.

Option A: I would prefer the lunches stayed the same.

Option B: I would prefer they changed the lunches.

I strongly believe that the current menu should be changed as per the reasons below.

Firstly, kids at this age need vitamins and nutrients to grow healthier besides the fact that they are
learning how to make their own choices regarding their food. The school is providing only junk food and
encouraging them to make bad decisions for the rest of their lives. Having pizza or burgers during the
weekend or once in a while is normal, but not on a regular base. As a consequence of these lunches, my
7 years-old boy gained 5 pounds since the beginning of the semester.

Secondly, I took my son to the dentist last week, and as a result of the excess of sugar, he is with three
caries.

Third, I noticed that my kid has no energy to play or study once he arrives from school as a consequence
of his lunch lack of vegetables and proteins.

Although kids enjoy the current menu, as a parent, I might be the one responsible to choose the
healthier food for his wellbeing.
