An Important Note Before You Start: This tweak will only enable sound in Safe Mode

if you choose Safe Mode with Networking.

Regular Safe Mode will NOT have sound.

Installation Instructions - Please follow to the letter!

You MUST be logged in using a Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 account with admin privileges
in order for this to work.

1. Download the file at https://drive.google.com/uc?

export=download&id=1wlU0tUtJrFOn0LV8zVcYiDEDmwPdPE78
to your Desktop.

2. Unzip the SoundInSafeMode.ZIP file on your Desktop. Simply select the ZIP file,
bring up the context menu,
and choose Extract All. You should end up with a folder named SoundInSafeMode on
your Desktop.

Your SoundInSafeMode folder should contain four items:

two folders named 32-bit and 64-bit, GetSafeModeSound.BAT, and
InstallationInstructions.txt (this file).
You can feel free to delete the folder from your desktop after you're finished
running the script.

3. On your Desktop, open the SoundInSafeMode folder, then Select the

GetSafeModeSound.BAT file.

4. Get a context menu on that file by your preferred method (SHIFT+F10 or

Menu/Applications Key) and select
"Run as administrator"

5. The file will run. If any step fails, you will get a failure message for that
specific step.
In the event of a failure the whole script will abort immediately. If everything
succeeds, you will get a
message that reads, "Registry configured successfully for sound in Safe Mode with
Networking," just before
"Press any key to continue . . ." After pressing any key the script will exit.
