a. Students are be able to identify language expression and social function of
offering help through an observation from the video.
b. Students are be able to create and present a short conversation by using
expression of offering help and its responses confidently through role play
activity.

 Pre-Activity (4 minutes)

Teacher greets students.

Teacher leads to pray and check students’ attendance.
Students’ condition and preparation also checked by teacher.
Students are given a picture related to the material (offering help) as a stimulus.
Main Activity (12 minutes)
Observing Students are observed the video about offering help and
note the important things
Questioning Students are asked by the teacher about the language
expression in offering help and what they got from the
video.
Exploring Students find out the teacher question about the language
features in offering help and its example based on the
video.
Associating - Students are asked to work in pair.
- Students make a short conversation that indicates
language expression in offering help and its
responses.
Communicating - Some students are invited to perform their dialogue
in front of the class.
- Teacher gives feedback and suggestion to students’
performance

Post-Activity (4 minutes)
Teacher gives a chance to the students to ask a question about the material
Teacher and students together conclude the material.
Class ended by the teacher with pray together.

2.2.1. Learning Conclusion
By learning the expression of offering help and its response through
video and role play, it is hoped that students could recognize the
language expression, create, and present a short dialogue about
offering help.
2.2.2. Assessment
The assessment will be given through completing dialogues about
Offering Help. Questions can be seen in the attachment file.
