Ltd. for standard Reinforced Earth Facia Panels for a highway construction project. The review found that the grade of concrete should be M-35 instead of M-30, the panel staking area should be 80m x 80m instead of 80m x 65m, and the properties of backfill materials considered in design should be based on field test results. The methodology for Reinforced Earth Wall was found to be in order.

    Dear Sir,
    This has reference to above mentioned subject; wherein the Concessionaire vide letter no.
    80; dated: 07.08.2019 has submitted the design and drawing of standard Reinforced Earth
    Facia Panels to this office for review and approval.

    Further, this office has reviewed the same w.r.t IRC provisions, MORT&H
    specifications/standards & Concession agreement and found the following observations
    mentioned below for your necessary compliance:-

    1. Grade of concrete for Fascia panel shall be M-35 instead of M-30


    (NHAI/MEP/TI/GAD/01 SHEET 03).
    2. Panel staking area shall be 80m x 80m instead of 80m x 65m (NHAI/MEP/TI/CYL/03
    SHEET 16).
    3. Properties of backfill materials considered in design shall be based on field test
    results.
    However, the Methodology for REW is generally found in order.
