Scope of Work
1. Survey of POP Location.
2. Acquisition
3. Liaising with concerned party where required.
4. Civil Work for DG PAD
5. Earth System Installation
6. Power Installation for equipment as per design.
7. Air Condition Installation
8. Installation of Active Element/initial commissioning as per design
9. Fiber Laying of different cores/Installation of Encloser/FDB at different rings as per topology.
10. ODN Installation, need to make the connectivity of the PON ports available at respective OLTs to
different area where customer service should be ready to use after drop wire connection from
the secondary splitter in the field
11. CPE installation/Commissioning
12. Need to perform Acceptance test.

Note:
1. Optical Fiber will be overhead cables in Electric poles/ Telephone Poles within different
locations of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur
2. The Type of Optical fiber will be 48C/ 24C/ 12C and 6C Steel strength or FRP Optical Fibers.
3. Fiber laying will exactly same as per design.
4. Neoteric will provide the Optical fiber, optical patch cord, outdoor enclosures, DB Boxes,
splitters and binding wires. Remaining items to be indicated provided by contractor.
5. Transportation of material to the POP location from defined ware house. Warehouse ll
located in Kathmandu valley.
6. Should manage the Splicing machines, Optical laser light, ladders, gloves and other required
materials, EHS except the materials which is provided by Neoteric.
7. Should setup the optical connection/ Optical link between devices in same POP or within the
POPs.
8. Should lay optical fibers together with complete fiber splicing and installation of DB box and
splitters as per the area/ location as per network layout/ design provided by Neoteric Nepal.
9. The FTTH network split ratio should be 1:64
10. Master splitter of 8 ports and 8 secondary splitters of 8 port each cascaded from 1 Master
Splitter (one secondary splitter per port on Master splitter) or may be more in some areas if
required
11. Neoteric will supply required materials and equipment for POP setup like UPS, Battery,
PDU, AC, Rack, OLTs, and required items for earthing work.
12. Contractor shall provide proper documentation in approved format.
