I’m (was) flying on a 747 jet plane to reach the Costa Del Sol in Spain. It is (was) hot on the flight and
I do (did) not like the sensation of weightlessness. I feel(felt) air sick and need(needed) to suck
sweets to pop my ears. Mum is(was) humming to herself because she is (was) scared of flying. I
am(was) sitting next to a fidgety child who keeps(kept) eating sweets and is(was) getting more and
more hyperactive. The man behind me snores(snored) when he nods(nodded) off and the teenaged
girl, across the aisle from me, listens(listened) to her head phones on full blast. I can(could) hear
Miley Cyrus blasting out alongside snoring and humming. The air stewardess looks(looked) worn out
and sighs(sighed) wearily when she thinks(thought) no one is(was) looking. I hear (heard) the sound
of the pilot’s voice over the intercom. He tells(told) us that the journey is(was) nearly over and it
seems(seemed) like the whole plane sighs(sighed) in relief. I don’t(didn’t) think I can(could) move my
legs and my toes are(were) numb. My dad, who is(was) practically lying down in his seat, has(had)
eventually come round and is(was) gathering up all our belongings ready to disembark. My mum
is(was) smiling at last and the snorer behind has(had) snorted himself awake. The flight has(had)
been relatively smooth and bearable, but I am(was) extremely pleased we have(had) landed. I
