makes us think that we are viable to open the

fresh fruit more than 6 times a week.
seventy percentof the population would

consumed the Cape Gooseberry.

ANALYSIS OF THE COMPARISON OF

RESULTS THROWN WITH THE SAMPLING
PLAN AND THE PROPOSED OBJECTIVES
We can conclude that our objective was met, which
was to know the level of consumption and
acceptance of the products to be marketed.
POSITIVE ASPECTS TO HIGHLIGHT

As positive aspects we have:

1.A trend of consumption of UCHUVA in
households was identified
2. His favorite mode of consumption is pulp.
3. Most of the respondents are willing to replace
fried foods, sodas and snacks with the consumption
of this fruit.
4. Cape gooseberry is imposed as a novelty in the
market.
5. The population would be willing to purchase it as
an option for medicinal products since its properties
are very natural.
6. Regarding the application of the survey, the
participation of the population stands out, including
athletes, the elderly and housewives.

NEGATIVE ASPECTS TO TAKE INTO

ACCOUNT
As negative aspects we have:
1. Respondents say they do not buy products
because they do not have knowledge of their
varieties
2. At fusagasuga only the crops are focused as the
acquisition point of this product.

The first place held by Colombia as an exporter of cape gooseberry is supported in

the areas of production and fruit yields in this country

As regards general aspects of the international trade of the cape gooseberry,

recognizes Colombia as the main exporter of this fruit followed by South Africa and

Kenya. Colombia has as its first commercial ally in this product the European

market to which 95% of the total cape gooseberry exported is exported Year

The European market is protected by tariff regulations, like other countries in the
world, but with more flexible parameters when it comes to the entry of products
from developing countries and especially products produced almost exclusively in
them as is the case of cape gooseberry, a clear example is the Generalized
System of Preferences or SPG.

Specifically, the Netherlands, which stands out as one of the leading fruit and
vegetable trading countries in the world, generates valuable revenues of close to $
7 million dollars annually, improving the quality of life of Colombian growers who,
advised by the exporter, can add value to your product with more sustainable
cultivation techniques that allow the acceptance of the fruit in the foreign market
