Course Compact For CHM 421 For Omega Semester 2019 2020
TIME: 8 - 10 am (Wednesdays)
LOCATION: 300/400L Chemistry Laboratory
B. COURSE OBJECTIVES/GOALS:
The purpose of this course is to:
To help students learn more about electrochemistry by helping them increase their
understanding of electron transfer and its role in chemical changes.
This lesson allows students to understand how energy transfers in the chemical
change of rust and corrosion and to understand the factors that influence this
process.
Investigate the underlying theories, principles and methods of colloid and surface
chemistry
provide students with an understanding of the physical chemistry of surfaces and
colloidal processes
