Short Description Technical Service Information

Descripción: CVT nissan... Forward Clutch Servicing

1. Using a pair of suitable snap ring pliers, remove the
snap ring that retains the turbine/input shaft to the
forward drum and remove the shaft from the drum
(figure 1).

Description 2. Remove the sealing rings from the turbine/input

shaft (figure 2).

3. Using a pick or small screwdriver, remove the

DODGE/JEEP MITSUBISHI/NISSAN
“thin” upper snap ring from the drum (figure 3).
Before removing the internal ring gear from the drum
(figure 4), make a mark as an identification of the top
side of the gear for proper reassembly.
