6. OBJECTIVES / GOALS:
 To analyze the extent to which e-marketing is used in Pakistan
 To identify the effectiveness of e marketing on the Business’s
operating in Pakistan
 To identify the increase in the productivity of business through the
use of e-marketing
 To identify the most common e-marketing tools being used in
Pakistan

7. PROBLEM STATEMENT: The extent to which Pakistani Company’s use e-


marketing as a competitive tool

The quantitative research has proved that the major reasons for increase in e-
marketing is because it has helped companies in being more customer focus,
customer centric and has helped in developing better customer relationships
and capturing a larger market since e marketing is effective.

The qualitative research shows that e marketing gives businesses the benefit
of promoting their product without spending much of their capital because
most of the individuals prefer sitting online rather than watching television or
read newspapers. Online advertising majorly include advertising social
networking sites and ads are placed on it on a weekly basis to ensure timely
updates.

14. CONCLUSION:

Although e marketing is superior than conventional marketing methods,


especially because it reduces extra expenses. But in developing countries like
Pakistan, application of e marketing has not yet been implemented due to
certain technological and social hindrances. On the contrary, developed
countries are far more technologically advanced, thus are able to make better
use of e marketing techniques effectively

15.RECOMMENDATIONS:
 Increase internet security
 More awareness regarding the use of e marketing at management and
consumer level

 At management level companies can employ continuous training for


their management
 At consumer level active marketing campaign is needed
 Government can play active part in regulating and developing IT
industry, which at present is not happening.
 Strive to create own equipments and inputs instead of relying on
imported one that will surely reduce the cost and can promise more
development.

16.FUTURE WORK:
As the economy and literacy level of developing countries increase, it will
pave the way for technological advancements. This will enable businesses
to incorporate more advanced e marketing tools and enjoy its outcomes.
Future research works will give insight about the extent to which e
marketing gives companies a competitive advantage.
