gsBEFRIENDER MINISTRY TEAM | We invite you to join our team!
Good Shepherd Members, please prayerfully consider being a part of our BeFriender Ministry Team.
What is Befriender Ministry? It is a Listening Presence of Lay Pastoral Care. Lay ministers embody the caring presence of
God and of the faith community. The foundational principles they live by are:
ª God is present in every encounter ª Caring, not curing ª Non–judgmental presence ª Active listening
If you know of someone who could use a BeFriender and/
or you would like to know more about the BeFriender
Ministry, we would like to invite you to a ZOOM
informational meeting on Mon., Aug. 17, at 10:00 am.
Email PastorDan@ktgs.org, or call the Church Office at
218.233.4980 for more information. Thank you for your
prayerful consideration!
gsWELCOME DESK | Calling for volunteers!
As Karen Skarpness starts her new role as Data Systems
and Finance Manager, and transitions away from being
the main voice you hear when you call Good Shepherd,
we will be relying on a team of front desk volunteers
from 10:00 am–2:00 pm each day. If you would like to
volunteer, email Linda@ktgs.org.
gsBLOOD DRIVE | Urgent––donors needed!

information in the coming weeks. You may also donate at
local facilities by visiting BloodHero.com (Vitalant, Fargo)
