COVID-19 – Worksite Health and Safety Requirements for Contractors.

Contractors and their subcontractors must also adhere to the following practices to help
prevent exposure and spread of COVID-19. The following recommendations are based on what
is currently known about COVID-19. Contractors and their subcontractors are advised to stay
current and immediately implement the most up-to-date practices to protect the safety and
health of your employees, clients, and the general public.

Requirements:
1. Only authorized employees as per contractor provided list are allowed to work
inside SAMIF premises
2. Security on main gate ensures screening of workers & visitors record the
temperature and immediate report to Mr. Arshad construction department if
found any symptoms related to cold, flu or covid-19.
3. Safety department will educate all employees of contractor by providing tools
box talk.
4. Its mandatory to wear face mask, hand gloves, follows social distancing
guidelines, cleaning their tools and equipment regularly, limiting vehicle sharing
whenever possible and taking other steps to keep our worksites safe for all the
contractors working inside SAMIF premises.
5. Allocate separate toilets and food area for contractor’s employees only to avoid
any interaction and chance to spread of Covid-19 with SAMIF EMPLOYES.
6. Utilize disposable gloves where appropriate and instruct workers to wash hands
after removing gloves.
7. Provide availability of Hand sanitizer, face mask and disposable gloves at
security gate.
8. Display Covid 19 government precaution signages at several places of

construction site & security gate.
