Smart Transport management system

Problem Statement:

Users need to travel from A to B. He/she uses different means of transportation are generally
available and include walking, biking (own, shared), moped/scooter, car, public
transportation (bus, metro, commuter train).Users should be able to view the traffic and
climatic conditions. For this, crowd, humidity, temperature detection sensors can be used.
Bike/car drivers should get the notification about blocked roads and the bad or under repair
condition of roads. They should also get the best possible route for reaching the required
destination for each mode of transport. For the public transport like buses and metro, users
should be able to view the information like in what time next bus or metro is expected to
come to particular station and with what crowd is it coming (so that users can decide to skip
crowded public transport based on this information), what is the comfort level of the seats
available and the total cost of travel. Users should also be able to view the details if any
scenic places are present in the route he/she passes by. Users can also view the dangerous or
accident prone areas and turnings, if any in the route (this helps for user’s safe journey). In
case if any kind of accidents take place, the information should reach the nearest hospital
available with ambulance service. A special facility for women using their own transport
during night time is also provided, wherein she can type a short message on which alert
message is sent to nearest police station, who can come to her rescue.
