Guidelines for Self Practise.

What is an 'Observation Sheet'?

The one month teacher training program is 200 hours course, out of which 150 hours would be
the classroom engagement and 50 hours would be for the assignments and the guided self
practise. The guided self practise should be recorded in the Observation Sheet by all the
students.

How to Practise?

The Asana teacher shall teach the authentic institutional asana to everyone in the live class. The
students are expected to practice these asana by themselves at home, following all the
instructions given by the teacher and record their own observations. The observations could be
very basic from feeling difference physically or mentally.

How do I know if I am doing correct?

The course coordinator shall ask for your filled sheets roll number wise to check and shall also
provide the feedback for the same.

Note the following important points :

Find the observation sheet attached to the orientation email. Its an editable excel file.

No Suryanamaskar or Pranayamas to be practiced at home on your own.

The observation sheet carries 10 marks. These marks are important if you opt to appear for
the YCB (Conducted by Ministry Of Ayush) exam in future.

Don’t forget to mention your name and roll number (once you get one) on the sheet before
sharing with the coordinator. Sharing of the sheet can be done via email.

It is important to mention the time practising each Asana. Every student is expected to
practice for 45 mins per day apart from the schedule of 10am to 6pm.

The coordinator will share a picture of the sample observation sheet.

Incase of any further queries, contact your coordinator.
