ba^2=ab, so right-multiply both sides by ba^2, so we have ba^2ba^2=abba^2. Observe that this right side is
ab^2a^2=a^3=e, so ba^2ba^2=e. Left-multiply by b and right-multiply by a to obtain b(ba^2ba^2)a=ba, or
b^2(a^2b)a^3=ba, or a^2b=ba, as desired.
