    3. Differentiate between absorption spectra and emission spectra with examples. (6 marks)

    4. Describe the different components of an absorption spectrometer and explain their functions.

    6. Discuss the line width broadening mechanisms in spectroscopy. (6 marks)

    7. Give an account of various factors which contribute to the intensity of spectral lines
