About the Association:

It is a humanitarian, non-profit, humanitarian charity,


founded in 2018. It obtained a license from the
Ministry of Interior under the number DR-592-M.
In terms of jurisdiction and laws, it is affiliated with
the Ministry of Social Development, and in accordance
with the provisions of the Charitable Societies and
Private Associations Law No. 1 of 2000.
The association’s administration established the Dora
Al Amal Rehabilitation Center in 2019 to provide
therapeutic and educational rehabilitation services,
amend the behavior of children with disabilities,
rehabilitate them psychologically and socially to
integrate them into society and school, and help them
to depend on themselves.

Providing a safe life for children with disabilities,
ensuring their right to have a good opportunity to
develop their capabilities and skills, and to rely on
themselves in daily life.

with institutions working in the field of humanitarian
services, and with the forces of the local community to
provide logistical, technical and professional support in
order to ensure the continuation of the association's
work and development in the field of providing
services to children with disabilities and their caring
families.

• Sub-goals
- Enabling children with disabilities to develop their
mental, physical and psychological abilities to integrate
them into the family, school and society.
Helping children to show their talents and abilities to
benefit from them.
- Provide an opportunity for children ages 14 and over
to learn a specific craft or profession that helps them
work after leaving the center.
Enhancing children's confidence and training them in
life skills.
Community awareness through awareness sessions for
the family and the community.
• Philosophy of the association and course of action:
Dora Al Amal Charitable Society provides
humanitarian and social services to a marginalized
segment of society, but it is capable of giving and
serving. This group is represented in children with
motor and mental disabilities, autism and its spectra,
Down syndrome and learning difficulties in Dura and
its neighboring villages.
And with the increase in the number of children with
disabilities, as Hebron Governorate is considered
number 2 in terms of numbers of disabilities at the
national level, according to the statistics of the General
Union of Persons with Disabilities, so the need for the
necessity of establishing a rehabilitation center
affiliated with the Dora Al Amal Charitable Society to
provide services has become urgent.

1. Therapeutic rehabilitation services:
o Occupational therapy: improving one's personal
abilities and adapting it to the community environment.
Physiotherapy: Rehabilitation of the movement
through exercises and multiple techniques, and the use
of specialized equipment in that.
Speech and hearing therapy: Help children understand
language and improve pronunciation through training,
tools and equipment.

Future development programs


1. Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program:
‫ المركز‬The center provides therapeutic
rehabilitation services through the presence of
treatment rooms that are not sufficient for the numbers

specialized therapeutic rehabilitation halls, in all
medical branches, to be a modern model in the city of
Dora and its villages.
‫ حاليا‬We currently receive university students for
ً
training from the specialties of therapeutic
rehabilitation, and we seek to be a center for field
training to be able to accommodate the numbers of
students.
 Holding professional technical partnerships with
leading national institutions in the field of therapeutic
rehabilitation such as (Arab Bethlehem Association for
Rehabilitation, Princess Basma Foundation in
Jerusalem), and other partner and support institutions.
 Work to establish a psychotherapy unit to integrate
rehabilitative services with the family.
2. The educational program:
‫ المركز‬The center provides educational educational
services within therapeutic classes, and the adoption of
the kindergarten curriculum and special education, and
learning difficulties through special education teachers,
and the association seeks to develop an appropriate
educational curriculum to be implemented with these
students to focus on basic information and life skills.
‫ الجمعية‬The association seeks to create educational
remedial classes in cooperation with schools and the
Department of Special Education to accommodate
students for a specified period of time who have been
reintegrated and reintegrated into their schools.
‫ الجمعية‬The association seeks to provide an
integrated resource room for the center, and to expand
the park to add games that suit the students' abilities.
 Partnerships with the Ministry of Education and the
General Union of Persons with Disabilities.
3. Professional program:
‫ الجمعية‬The association provides the necessary
services for the professional preparatory class from the
age of 14 years and above, in the field of (wax
industry, gypsum molds, flower arrangement, soap
making, drawing, etc.)
The association is currently seeking to develop
students' skills according to their abilities and
capabilities to use a CNC machine.
We seek to create a separate section for girls with
disabilities to train them on special programs for girls
such as (sweets, accessories, pastries, flower
arrangements ... etc.).
4. The economic program
The association depends on securing and providing its
economic resources on the following:

 Symbols of rehabilitative therapy sessions.
 Selling some of the products of the professional
preparatory class (soap, accessories, arranging roses ...
etc), through exhibitions and charitable bazaars.
A sponsorship project has been done to cover the
premiums and treatment of students, which starts from
100 shekels or more, and the association is currently
working on community awareness to develop the
remedial guarantees project for financial coverage.
‫ الجمعية‬The association seeks to develop the
centers of the center and the treatment rooms in order
to expand the provision of services and to be a material
supportive of the center that helps it to continue to
fulfill its mission.
‫ الجمعية‬The association seeks to create a
therapeutic and recreational pool for the children of the
center.
