    • Simple ideas + complex language


    • “I agree/ I support the view that…”
    • EXAMPLES! Use specific reasons. (to illustrate… for instance, when I was..). Personal
    experience or something that happened to someone you know, etc.

    ESSAY FORMAT

    1- INTRODUCTION
    a- Paraphrase the prompt
    b- Thesis statement
    2- BODY
    a- Topic sentence (short)
    b- Supporting sentence (how? Why?)
    c- Example → well-developed
    d- Round off → consequence/result (short)

    You may write 2 or 3 body paragraphs

    3- CONCLUSION
    -To conclude, to summarize, to sum up, all in all, etc.
    -paraphrase what you said in the body paragraphs (topic sentence 1 and 2)
    -DO NOT include new ideas!!!
