Project Impact Analysis For Flood Control/Drainage Program
Name of Project: OO2: Construction/ Rehabilitation of Flood Mitigation Facilities within Major River Basins and Principal Rivers - Construction of Dike within
Bicol River Basin, Brgy. San Vicente, Libmanan Camarines Sur
Description: Construction of Concrete Dike on Steel Sheet Pile
Goals/Objectives: To mitigate flooding in the areas affected by the River Flow during Typhoon and Heavy Rains and protect the river banks from erosion.
Note: Hydrologic Analysis is based on the available data from Google Map (elevations) and PPA Manuals (Highest Water Level Elevations-Table A page 13. All data are subject
for verification and complete Hydrologic/Hydraulic design will be conducted during Detailed Engineering phase to include Geotechnical, Tidal Analysis, Slope and stability
Analysis and other required Design parameters.
3. Inundation Period 3 days 1 day considering the maximum experienced flood level and the site is situated within
the Bicol river basin
4. Affected/Protected Popuplation San Vicente 1,815 pop. San Vicente 1,200 pop. see attached population data based on 2015 Census of Population
(assumed 10% marginal error)
5. Flood damage a. Houses: 348 households @ P100, 000 10% x 34.8 M = 3.48 M (assumed 10% Data based on Libmanan MMDRRMC records
